Before we start we have to mention an amazing female golfer who we still need to mention is Jessica Korda. She is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA tour.

She has six LPGA tour wins in her professional career. She is the elder sister of Nelly Korda who is currently the second-best women’s golfer in the world.

10. Nasa Hataoka

Nasa Hataoka is a Japanese professional golfer who plays on the LPGA tour. She is currently ranked the tenth-best women’s golfer in the world. Nasa’s net worth is around $1.5 million. She became a professional golfer in 2016.

She has won the LPGA and LPGA of Japan Tours Six times respectively. Hataoka currently holds the record for the youngest-ever golfer to win the LPGA of Japanese tours. She has an average of 4 points in 52 tournaments. 

9. Kim Hyo Joo

Kim Hyo Joo is a professional golfer who plays on the South Korean LPGA tours. She is a South Korean-born golfer. She became a professional golfer in 2012.

Kim has won 21 professional tours in her career including the LPGA tour, Japan LPGA tour, South Korean LPGA tour, Ladies European tour, and others. 

Her first and only tournament major win is the 2014 Evian Championship. She is currently the ninth-best women’s golfer in the world with an average of 4.33 points in 46 tournaments. 

8. Chun In-Gee

Chun In-gee who is also called In Gee Chun is a South Korean-born professional golfer who plays on the LPGA tour. She has won three major championships including the US Women’s open in 2015, Evian Championship in 2016, and the Women’s PGA Championship in 2022. Moreso, she is the first and only female golfer to win three major tours in the same calendar year.

In-gee has won ten Korean LPGA tours, four LPGA tours, two Japan LPGA tours, and one Ladies European tour. She also represented South Korea in the 2016 Rio Olympics. In-gee has an average of 4.69 points in 47 tournaments.

7. Brooke Henderson

Brooke Henderson is a Canadian female golfer. She is a professional golfer on the LPGA tour. At the age of 18, she was already the youngest female golfer to win the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

She was awarded the Canadian Press female athlete of the year three times in 2015, 2017, and 2018. In 2019, she won the ESPY award for the best female golfer. Also, she has won the LPGA for a record twelve times which is the highest in Canadian history. 

Henderson is ranked as the 7th best female golfer in the world with an average of 5.13 points in 51 tournaments. Early this year she signed up with TaylorMade. 

6. Lexi Thompson

Lexi Thompson is a professional golfer who plays on the LPGA tour. She is an American by nationality born in Coral Springs, Florida. She had started making exploits in the world of golf from a very young age. At the age of 12, she had already qualified for the US women’s open making her the youngest golfer to ever accomplish this feat.

At age 16, she won the Navistar LPGA Classic and won the LPGA tournament thereby setting the record as the tour’s youngest-ever winner. She then went on to win the Navistar LPGA Classic. 

When she was 19, she won the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship which was her first championship win. She has won 15 major tours. Lexi has an average of 5.30 In 43 tournaments.

5. Ko Jin-Young

Ko JIn-Young otherwise known as Jin Young Ko is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the LPGA tour. She is a winner of numerous major honors including the thirteen LPGA tours, twelve Korean LPGA tours, one ALPG tour, and many others. Also, she has won two major championships, Evian Championship and Chevron Championship which she won in 2019. 

In 2019 and 2020, she was the No.1 ranked women’s golfer in the world. But currently, she’s the fifth-best women’s golfer in the world. Ko was also named the LPGA player of the year twice in 2019 and 2021. She has an average of 5.77 points in 41 tournaments.

4. Minjee Lee

Minjee Lee is an Australian-born professional golfer. She plays on the LPGA tours. She currently ranks at No.4 best women golfers in the world. But, in 2014 she reached the No.1 spot after winning the Oates Victorian Open. 

Minjee has won two major championships including the Amundi Evan Championship which she won on July 25, 2021, and the US Women’s Open which she won on July 5, 2022.

After the US Women’s Open, she collected the highest cash prize in women’s golf history, a whopping $1.8 million. She has also won the LPGA Tour 8 times and the ALPG Tour 2 times. She has an average of 6.17 points in 50 tournaments.

3. Atthaya Thitikul

Atthaya Thitikul is a professional female golfer based in the United States. She hails from Ratchaburi Thailand but currently plays in the US Ladies European and LPGA tours.

Thitikul holds the record for the youngest female golfer to win a professional golf tournament at age 14 and also the Ladies European Thailand Championship as an amateur on July 9, 2017. Moreso, she was ranked the No.1 amateur women’s golfer in the world for 12 weeks. 

In the previous year, she was named the Rookie of the Year. Her recent form in recent times has rewarded her with a third-place spot on the list of top women golfers in the world. Her average point is 6.18 in 46 tournaments. 

2. Nelly Korda

Nelly is a professional women’s golfer who plays on the LPGA tour. She’s a beautiful golfer who hails from the United States. She has won many major golf titles including; Solheim Cup which she won in 2019 and 2021, LPGA Tour which she won seven times, the Olympic Gold medal at the last Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, and a lot more titles. 

Nelly has an average of 7.16 points in 38 tournaments. This makes her second in our LPGA world rankings.

1. Lydia Ko

Lydia Ko is the No.1 best women’s golfer in the world. She set the record for the youngest professional golfer to achieve top ranking on February 2, 2015, at age 17. Ko is a professional New Zealand golfer born in Seoul, South Korea on April 24, 1997.

She is one of the most successful female golfers in history. At a young age, she already started claiming much success in the world of Golf. She was the youngest ever golfer to win a professional golf tour event and win an LPGA tour event at age 15. 

In 2014, she was named in Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people on the planet. She has won the LPGA tour 19 times, the Ladies European tour 6 times, the ALPG tour 5 times, and many other awards. She has an average of 7.64 points in 50 tournaments.
