Players on the wings are the centers favorite because they feed them in the slot. Most NHL winning teams have at least one elite level winger, such as the Avalanche with Mikko Rantanen and the Lightning with Nikita Kucherov.

Some of the best dynasties have solid right wings, like the Blackhawks getting three Stanley Cups with Patrick Kane. Here are the best right wings in NHL history.

Honorable Mention

Patrick Kane

Team(s): Chicago Blackhawks

Patrick Kane is the best right winger in the modern-day NHL, winning three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks, clinching the 2010 Cup Final.

One ball drop away from being a Philadelphia Flyer in 2007, the Blackhawks took him first overall. In 1,107 NHL games, he has scored 430 goals and 750 assists in 1,180 games played.

He has also scored 52 goals in 136 playoff appearances. It is looking increasingly like his time is done in Chicago.

Drafted by the Winnipeg Jets, he was traded after four seasons. He also played for the San Jose Sharks and Colorado Avalanche.

Mr. Hockey himself had one of the longest careers in NHL history, and probably would still be playing today if the laws of nature and human form would allow him to.

He started his NHL career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1946 and saw plenty of hockey history with his own eyes.

He played for the Red Wings until 1971 when he retired. He came back in 1973 to play in the WHA with his sons for the Houston Aeros, then the Hartford Whalers in the WHA and NHL.
