The long stretch run that started in September has finally made its push to the final two teams standing in the NFL as they prepare to meet in Super Bowl LVI. After another action packed filled NFL schedule that delivered excitement during the NFL Conference Championships this past weekend.

While many teams have lived up to the potential to be the NFL’s top team in 2021, only one will finish atop the mountain and take home the Lombardi Trophy.

As we sit back and wait for Super Bowl LVI, the opportunity to take a look at one potential last NFL Power Rankings is present as the NFL schedule heads into the 2021-22 NFL Pro Bowl weekend.

The big question is which of the final remaining two teams the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams is deserving of the top spot, while other question marks like who will join them in the top 10 teams in the NFL Power Rankings.

For now as the excitement builds for Super Bowl LVI on February 13th, 2022, here is our NFL Power Rankings heading into the NFL Pro Bowl Weekend while we wait for Super Bowl Sunday.

Honorable Mention

Las Vegas Raiders

Coming in just outside of the Top 10 teams on the NFL Power Rankings list is the Oakland Raiders. After a drama-filled start to the season that left the team without their head coach, the Raiders responded behind solid play on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

Much of the success came from the play of quarterback Derek Carr who put together career highs in completions and passing yards while leading the team to 11th most yards per game. A new path forward is present for the team as they look to move forward in 2022.

Philadelphia Eagles

Despite the team’s early exit from the NFL playoffs, the Philadelphia Eagles are a good football team on both sides of the ball while having some solid young players. The Eagles ranked 15th in total offense, 1st in rushing, 12th in points per game, 10th in yards allowed and 9th in rushing yards.

On the offensive side of the ball the team was led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back Miles Sanders, wide receiver Devonta Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert while the defense was led by Javon Hargrave and Josh Sweat.

Top 10 NFL Power Rankings

10. Dallas Cowboys

With one of the best rosters in the NFL including possibly one of the best receiving corps in all of football the Dallas Cowboys couldn’t put it together during the post season to advance to the Super Bowl.

The team’s talented offense with Dak Prescott under center was as good as any during the regular season while the duo of Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliot was dynamic in the running game. The Cowboys finished 7th in the NFL in points allowed per game, 1st in the NFL in yards per game and 1st in points per game.

9. New England Patriots

When you look around the NFL it is not hard to understand why the New England Patriots consistently rank near the Top 10 teams in the NFL year in and year out. The team is managed and directed by Bill Belichick who is as good as any coach and general manager around the game of football.

After a step back last season after losing the great Tom Brady, the Patriots rebounded this year to nearly win the AFC East while making a trip back into the playoffs. The team has a solid young quarterback in Mac Jones while the defense finds ways to keep them in ball games week in and week out.

8. San Francisco 49ers

One team that could have been much higher on this list is the San Francisco 49ers but concerns and play at the quarterback position left the team struggling to find consistency. While Jimmy Garoppolo wins ball games and has put together a solid winning percentage over his career, the 49ers quarterback finds ways to allow the other team back in games as we saw in the NFC Championship game.

Despite these struggles at times the 49ers were just one win away from a trip to the Super Bowl. This team is talented around the quarterback position including the versatile Deebo Samuel and a top five tight end in George Kittle.

7. Tennessee Titans

Possibly the biggest surprise this season was the Tennessee Titans who kept on winning after losing their star running back Derrick Henry. Despite the return of Henry during the playoffs the team’s lack of consistency caught them against the Cincinnati Bengals while the team failed to establish balance on the ground.

The team’s strong play on defense kept them in most games this season while finishing allowing the 6th fewest points in the NFL as well 12th fewest amount of yards per game.

6. Buffalo Bills

This Buffalo Bills team might have been the best team in the AFC this season on both sides of the ball while Josh Allen continues to emerge as one of the Top 5 NFL quarterbacks.

Allen finished in the top 10 in passing yards per game, passing touchdowns, quarterback rating and 3rd among all quarterbacks in rushing yards and 1st among quarterbacks in rushing touchdowns.

Meanwhile the Bills defense was as good as any in the NFL ranking 1st in yards allowed per game, 1st in passing yards allowed per game and 1st in points allowed per game.

5. Green Bay Packers

In possibly the last season with future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers under center the team failed to capitalize on another top overall seed in the NFC this season. The Packers have a talented roster loaded with weapons on both sides of the ball including Rodgers as well as All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams.

Despite their play making abilities, the team’s inconsistencies on special teams dropped them on the rankings and one that showed up late cost them a chance to play in the NFC Championship game.

A blocked punt that led to a touchdown ultimately derailed their season after the team found ways to win during a regular season that saw missed field goals and botched plays both receiving and kicking.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

No one knows how the season could have finished if the injuries didn’t show up for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, they did and this left the team without the slew of weapons at Tom Brady’s disposal that could have allowed them to find mismatches down the stretch.

Without having  Chris Godwin to finish out the season and the postseason while Antonio Brown was injured and just walked off the field, Brady had Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski to carry the load.

Despite injuries, Brady and the Bucs nearly found a way to comeback against the Los Angeles Rams and make a second straight trip to the Super Bowl. Big question now is what will the Bucs do heading into next year now that Tom Brady has officially retired?

3. Kansas City Chiefs

In the tail of two halves, the Kansas City Chiefs went from Super Bowl to watching the Super Bowl after controlling the first half of the AFC Championship Game to allow a double digit point lead slip away. The Chiefs offense is still the team to beat led by All-Pro quarterback Patrick Mahomes and supporting cast of top tier talent of Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.

Unfortunately injuries and struggles at running back left a void while the defense was up and down all season. In addition, coaching decisions at various points including a bad decision before the half in the AFC Championship Game left many fans wondering just why? A field goal and the momentum might have been the key to struggles and loss.

2. Cincinnati Bengals

As a fan you could debate whether this Cincinnati Bengals team is well deserving of the top spot on the Pro Bowl Weekend NFL Power Rankings list. The team is solid on the defensive side of the ball when needed and as good as any team on offense.

The team is built around their talented offense including second year star Joe Burrow, rookie wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Hilton and running back Joe Mixon.

With Chase breaking the rookie receiving mark during the regular season and his big play potential on any pass, the Bengals offense is nearly unstoppable at times to slow down. Big concern landing them at number two is the team’s offensive line struggles that saw Burrow sacked 12 times in just three games.

1. Los Angeles Rams

After going all in with the acquisition of  Matthew Stafford, the Los Angeles Rams are heading back to the Super Bowl as they play at home in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday February 13th, 2022.

In addition the team was able to add Odell Beckham Jr and Von Miller during the regular season to solidify their roster. Stafford has proven key this season finishing 3rd in passing yards, 2nd in passing touchdowns and 4th in QBR percentage.

Meanwhile on the defensive side of the ball the Rams are led by All-Pro Aaron Donald who continues to dominate as well as the best cornerback in all of football Jalen Ramsey. As you look at the Rams the team is built to win with a dynamic trio at receiver with Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and Beckham while Donald and Miller make it difficult to slow down the pass rush.
