Before we move on to the all time olympic boxing rankings, here are some amateur boxing champions that deserve an honorable mention.

Harry Mallin
Country: England
Harry Mallin was an Amateur boxer back in the 1920s, and he won 2 consecutive gold medals in the 1920 and 1924 Olympic games. He deserves an honorable mention.
Jerzy Kulej
Country: Poland
Jerzy Kulej was a polish boxer who also has two Olympic gold medals. He won in the 1964 and 1968 Olympics and is also a 2-time European Amateur champion. He also deserves an honorable mention before we move on to the actual list.

10. Oleg Saitov
Country: Russia
Oleg Saitov is a Russian boxer who had a lot of success in the Amateur ranks.
He is a two-time consecutive Olympic gold medalist, winning gold in 1996 and 2000. He also won a bronze medal in the 2004 Olympics. He also won gold in the 1997 Amateur world championships and has two gold medals in the European championships.
His complete Amateur record is not known, but according to what is known, he has an Amateur record of 79 wins and 16 losses.
9. Boris Lagutin
Country: Russia
Boris Lagutin is a former Soviet boxer who competed in the 1960s.
He won a bronze medal in the 1980 Rome Olympics and two consecutive gold medals in the 1964 and 1968 Olympics. Boris Lagutin was also a two-time European champion.
His exact Amateur record is not known, however, he has an unofficial record of 287 wins and 10 losses.
8. Héctor Vinent
Country: Cuba
Héctor Vinent is an Amateur boxer from Cuba. The seven-time Cuban national champion also competed in the 1992 and 1996 Olympics, where he won consecutive gold medals.
Vinent is also a two-time world Amateur champion and has a bronze medal in the Pan American championships.
He has an Amateur record of 72 wins and 4 losses.
7. Ariel Hernández
Country: Cuba
Also from Cuba, Ariel Hernández makes it at number 7 in our list.
He is a 2 time, consecutive Olympic gold medalist, winning gold at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics. He has 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the world Amateur championships, a gold medal in the Pan American Games, and two gold medals in the Central American and Caribbean Games
He had an amateur record of 107 wins and 14 losses.
6. Guillermo Rigondeaux
Country: Cuba
Rigondeaux is another boxer, who is regarded as one of the best in both the professional and Amateur ranks.
As an Amateur, he won two consecutive gold medals in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics. He also won gold twice in the world championships one in the Pan American championships and 7 times in the Cuban National championships
He has an Amateur record of 374 wins and 12 losses.
5. Vasyl Lomachenko
Country: Ukraine
Vasiliy Lomachenko is one of the most popular and talented professional boxers today, but he is also known to be one of the best amateur boxers of all time.
The Ukrainian boxer won two consecutive gold medals in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. He also has two gold medals in the world championships and a gold medal in the European championships.
He has an incredible amateur record of 396 wins and only 1 loss.
4. Zou Shiming
Country: China
Zou Shiming is the boxer who put Chinese boxers on the map. He is one of the best Amateur boxers to come out of China and has also won two world titles as a professional.
He has two consecutive Olympic gold medals in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games, and he also won a bronze medal in the 2004 Olympics. Shiming has three gold and a silver medal in the world championships and two gold medals in the Asian Games.
He has an Amateur record of 51 wins and 5 losses.
3. Teófilo Stevenson
Country: Cuba
Teófilo Stevenson is one of the best Amateur boxers to come out of Cuba.
He is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, winning consecutive medals in 1972, 1976, and 1980 Olympics. He also has 3 gold medals in the world championships and 6 gold medals in Central America and the Caribbean Championships.
Stevenson retired with an Amateur boxing record of 302 wins, 22 losses, and 8 draws.
2. Félix Savón
Country: Cuba
At number 2, we have another Cuban Amateur boxer, with an incredible Amateur record.
Ha has three consecutive Olympic gold medals in the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Olympics. He also has 6 gold medals and one silver medal in the world championships. He is a 5 time Central America and the Caribbean Champion and has 3 gold medals in the Pan American Games.
Félix Savón retired with an Amateur record of 362wins and 21 losses.
1. László Papp
Country: Hungary
At number 1, we have László Papp, who was the first Amateur boxer in the world to win three consecutive Olympic gold medals.
Papp won gold in the 1948, 1952, and 1956 Olympics, with the first medal coming at middleweight and the second and third at light-middleweight. Papp is also a two-time European champion. He had an undefeated Amateur record with 27 wins and 2 losses.
