The 23-year-old fighter competes at bantamweight and is looking to get gold at Tokyo

Muslim Gadzhimagomedov is an exciting fighter to look out for at the 2021 Olympics. 

The heavyweight fighter won gold at the 2019 Yekaterinburg world championships and the 2019 Minsk European games. He also has a silver medal in the 2017 Kharkiv European championships at light heavyweight.

Lauren Price is a welsh boxer competing in the Tokyo Olympics for team Great Britain. She fights in the middleweight division and is definitely one of the most talented boxers in the current roster. 

She won Gold at the 2019 European games held at Minsk, the 2019 world championships, and the 2018 Gold coast games. She is also a three-time European championships Bronze medalist.

Lauren Price, a former world champion kickboxer and international soccer player for Wales is 27 years old and is one of the top boxers competing in this year’s Olympics.

Eumir Marcial is a very talented boxer from the Philippines, and he is considered the successor of the boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao by many people. 

Marcial has one professional fight on his record but has still qualified for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics. He will be looking to bring the Philippines its first boxing gold medal. 

Marcial has won three gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games. He has also won silver at the 2019 Yekaterinburg world championships. The 25-year-old boxer is competing in the Olympics for the first time and is a boxer to keep your eye on.

Hu Jianguan is a boxer from China, competing at the 2021 Olympics. 

The talented boxer won a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and has the goal to get Gold for China this year. He also won a bronze medal at the 2015 World Championships at Doha and the 2019 Asian Championships in Bangkok. 

Jiangnan is known to have some of the fastest combinations and He was recently ranked number 1 in the World Ranking for Amateur Boxers in his category. 

3. M.C. Mary Kom

Country: India

Mary Kom is a boxer from India and she is one of the most decorated female athletes in the world. 

Kom is a six-time world champion and a five-time Asian champion. She has also won gold at the 2018 gold coast commonwealth games and the 2014 Asian games. At the 2012 Olympics at London, she won a bronze medal

This year, the 38-year-old athlete is going to try once again to get Olympic gold for India. 

2. Shakhobidin Zoirov

Country: Uzbekistan

Shakhobidin Zoirov is a boxer from Uzbekistan. He has a professional record of 3-0, but he is also competing in amateur boxing at the Tokyo Olympics. 

Shakhobidin Zoirov won a gold medal at the Rio Olympics, fighting at flyweight. Moreover, he has won two silver medals and one gold at the Asian championships. He also won a gold medal at the 2019 Yekaterinburg world championships. 

Shakhobidin Zoirov is a southpaw, who tries to emulate his hero Muhammad Ali with his footwork and ring craft, fires quick body-head combinations.

Julio Cesar La Cruz is an Olympian from Cuba, and he is one of the best boxers to look out for in the 2021 Olympics. He has an amateur record of 206 wins and 26 losses. 

La Cruz will be fighting at heavyweight in Tokyo. Most notably, he won gold in the Rio Olympics and has four amateur world titles at light-heavyweight. 

La Cruz has a distinctive style of boxing that earned him the nickname ‘La Sombra’, or ‘the Shadow’. He drops his guard and invites his opponents on before using his athleticism to swerve out of the way and land counters.
