After grabbing the undisputed heavyweight title and defending it against Tyson Fury in his last fight, Oleksandr Usyk is widely recognized as the top pound-for-pound boxer in the world right now. Artur Betterbiev has also moved up to number 4 after winning the undisputed title at light heavyweight. So, here are our updated Pound for Pound rankings, but first, let’s take a look at some honorable mentions.

10. Shakur Stevenson

Title(s):

  • WBC Lightweight World Champion

Starting off our pound-for-pound rankings, we have an exceptional young American boxer, Shakur Stevenson. He is undefeated as a pro and has 29 wins on his record. 

Stevenson is the current WBC lightweight world champion, and he has previously held the WBO featherweight title as well, along with the unified WBO, WBC, and The Ring titles at Super featherweight. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Artem Harutyunyan by decision, and he is scheduled to face Floyd Schofield next on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025

9. Junto Nakatani

Title(s):

  • WBC Bantamweight World Champion

At number 9, we have one of the biggest stars from Japan, Junto Nakatani. He is undefeated as a professional and has an impressive 29 wins on his record. 

Junto Nakatani has held world championships in three weight classes. He is the current WBC bantamweight world champion and has previously held the WBO title at both junior bantamweight and flyweight. 

In his last fight, he defeated Petch Sor Chitpattana via TKO, and he will make his third title defense at bantamweight against David Cuellar Contreras on the 24th of February.

8. Errol Spence Jr.

Next on our list is Errol Spence Jr, an American Professional boxer with an excellent record of 28 wins with one loss. 

Spence is the former unified WBA (Super), WBC, and IBF Welterweight world champion, he has been a world champion since 2017 and has made six successful title defenses. His only career loss came in his most recent fight against Terence Crawford when he lost via 9th-round TKO. However, he is still among the best active boxers in the world right now. 

As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

7. Gervonta Davis

Coming in at number 7, we have ‘The Tank’ Gervonta Davis from America, and he has an undefeated professional record with 30 wins and an impressive 28 knockouts. 

Davis has held world titles in three different weight classes. He is the current WBA lightweight champion and has previously held Super Featherweight and Super Lightweight as well. In his most recent fight, he knocked out Frank Martin to make his seventh title defense at lightweight.

For his next fight, Davis is scheduled to fight Lamont Roach on March 1, 2025.

6. Dmitry Bivol

Up next, at number 6, we have Dimitry Bivol from Russia. He has an impressive professional record of 23 wins and only one loss. 

Bivol was ranked higher in our previous rankings, but after his recent loss to Artur Beterbiev, he has dropped a couple of spots. Still, the former WBA Light Heavyweight champion is among the best boxers in his division and boxing as a whole.

He will get a chance to regain his title and the WBC, WBO, and IBF titles along with it when he fights Artur Beterbiev in their highly anticipated rematch scheduled for February 22nd.

5. Canelo Alvarez

At number 5, we have the former pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez. He has a record of 62 wins, two losses, and two draws and has held world titles in four different weight classes. 

He is the former Undisputed super middleweight champion and currently holds the unified WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, and The Ring super middleweight titles. He has also held world titles at light middleweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight. The Unified champion Canelo Alvarez is coming off impressive wins over Jaime Munguia and Edgar Berlanga.

In his next fight on May 23, 2025, Canelo Álvarez will have the opportunity to become a two-time undisputed super middleweight champion when he takes on William Scull.

4. Artur Beterbiev

He currently reigns as the undisputed light heavyweight champion, holding all four major world titles, along with the IBO and The Ring Light Heavyweight belts. In his most recent fight, Beterbiev cemented his undisputed status, edging out Dmitry Bivol via majority decision in a razor-close battle.

With the rivalry far from settled, the two are set for a highly anticipated rematch on February 22nd in Saudi Arabia—a fight that could redefine the division.

3. Terence Crawford

Next up, we have Terence Crawford at number 3, with an undefeated professional record and an impressive 41 wins, with 31 knockouts.

Naoya Inoue has held multiple world titles in four weight classes and is one of the only three boxers to hold undisputed titles in two weight classes. He is the current undisputed super bantamweight champion and previously held all four major titles at bantamweight as well.

In his last fight, Inoue made his third undisputed title defense at super bantamweight against Kim Ye-joon, winning the fight by knockout in the 4th round. Naoya Inoue’s next fight is scheduled for June 14, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, against Alan Picasso.

He is the current unified WBA, WBC, WBO, IBO, and the Ring heavyweight champion, and he held the undisputed heavyweight title as well. Previously, Usyk was also the undisputed cruiserweight champion, making him one of the few fighters in history to become undisputed champion in two divisions.

In his most recent fight, he defended the undisputed heavyweight title with a win over Tyson Fury in their Rematch, winning via Unanimous Decision and cementing his position at the top of the boxing world.
