Edgar Berlanga is an American professional boxer of Puerto Rican descent, who is an exciting prospect at super-middleweight. He has an undefeated professional record of 17-0, with 16 KOs

Jürgen Brähmer is another incredible fighter at super-middleweight, who deserves an honorable mention. The German professional boxer has a record of 52 wins and three losses, and he’s is also a two-time former light-heavyweight world champion

10. Fedor Chudinov

Starting off our list we have Fedor Chudinov from Russia. He has a Boxing record of 23 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw.

Chudinov started his career in 2009 and won the WBA interim super-middleweight title in 2014 after defeating Ben McCulloch. In his next fight, Chudinov fought Felix Sturm and became the WBA (regular) super-middleweight. However, after one defense, he lost the title to Sturm.

Chudinov also held the WBA International super-middleweight title from 2017 to 2018 and is currently the WBA Gold super-middleweight champion, a title which he has held since 2019.

His last fight against Isaac Chilemba was a Draw, and his next fight hasn’t been announced yet.

9. Daniel Jacobs

Daniel Jacobs is a professional boxer from the United States, and he has an extensive Boxing record of 37 wins and 3 losses, with 30 knockouts.

Jacobs is also a two-time middleweight world champion, having held the IBF middleweight championship from 2018 to 2019 and the WBA (Regular) middleweight championship from 2014 to 2017.

Nicknamed the “Miracle Man,” Jacobs’ really mulled a miracle when he recovered completely from osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. after spending 19 months out of the sport. Though he spent most of his career at middleweight, his last fight was against Gabriel Rosado, at super middleweight.

8. David Lemieux

Next up, we have David “The Demolisher” Lemieux on our list. The Canadian professional boxer has quite an extensive boxing record, with 42 wins and 4 losses, with 35 Knockouts.

Lemieux won the IBF middleweight championship in 2015; however, in his very next fight, he lost the title to Gendry Glovkin.  In 2017, Lemieux also fought Billy Joe Saunders for the WBO middleweight title, but couldn’t seize the opportunity, as he lost via UD

Lemieux won his last fight against Francy Ntetu, and his next fight is scheduled for June 4th, 2021 against David Zegarra.

7. John Ryder

29–5 (16 KO)

Coming in at number 7, we have John Ryder. The British professional boxer has a record of 29 wins and 5 losses, and he has most notably held the WBA interim super-middleweight title, which he won in 2019 in a fight against Bilal Akkawy.

He lost the title to Callum Smith in his next fight. Has also challenged twice for the British middleweight title at the regional level.

In his last fight, John “The Gorilla” Ryder defeated Mike Guy via UD, and his next fight hasn’t been finalized yet.

6. Anthony Dirrell

At number 6, we have Anthony Dirrell. The American professional boxer has a record of 33 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws.

 Anthony “The Dog” Dirrell is also a two-time WBC super-middleweight champion, having held the title in 2019 and previously from 2014 to 2015. Dirrell defeated Sakio Bika to win the WBC title in 2014, whereas in 2019, the win came against Avni Yıldırım.

In his most recent fight, Anthony Dirrell fought Kyrone Davis, which was a Draw. his next fight has not been announced yet.

5. Callum Smith

The next fighter on our list is from Britain. Callum John Smith has an impressive professional record of 27 wins and only one loss, which came against the current pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez in his most recent fight.

Most notably, Callum Smith has held the  WBA (Super) and Ring magazine super-middleweight titles. He won both the titles after defeating George Groves and defended them twice before losing them to the current champion Canelo Alvarez.

At the regional level, Smith has also won British and European super-middleweight titles. He has also won the WBC silver and the WBC international Super-middleweight titles.

4. Billy Joe Saunders

Billy Joe Saunders is also from Britain and has a professional record of 30 wins and one loss. Saunders was also undefeated until he faced Canelo Alvarez in his most recent fight.

Saunders has had a very impressive career and has held world titles in two divisions. He defeated Andy Lee in 2015 to become the WBO middleweight champion and defended his title three times before moving to super-middleweight.

He also won the WBO super-middleweight title, after defeating Shevat Isufi, and defended the title twice before losing it to Canelo Alvarez.  Saunders has also won multiple notable regional titles.

His next fight has not been announced yet and may be out for sometime after facing a devastating injury in his fight against Canelo.

3. Caleb Plant

21–0 (12 KO)    IBF

Caleb Plant is an undefeated American professional boxer, with a record of 21 wins and no losses, with 12 knockouts.

In 2019, PLant defeated José Uzcátegui to win the IBF super-middleweight championship and has since defended it three times. In his most recent fight, he defeated Caleb Truax via UD to retain his title.

Though there isn’t any official announcement for Plants’ next fight, he will most likely face off against Canelo Alvarez for a chance at the unified super-middleweight titles. The negotiations between both sides will start this week, and they are reportedly targeting a fight in September.

2. David Benavidez

Anthony David Benavidez makes it at number 2 on our list. The American professional boxer has an undefeated professional record of 24 wins and no losses, and he is a two-time WBC super middleweight champion.

He defeated Ronald Gavril in 2017 to become the champion the first time, and the second time he won against Anthony Dirrell.

In his most recent fight, Benavidez defeated Ronald Ellis via TKO in the 11th round, and his next fight was going to be against José Uzcátegui on Aug 28, 2021

1. Canelo Álvarez

Canelo has undoubtedly solidified himself as the Boxing Pound For Pound King. He remains on the top of the P4P lists by Ring Magazine, The Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, Boxing Writers Association of America, BoxRec, and most certainly here on Fan Rankings.

With an incredible record of 56 wins and only one defeat, the Mexican professional boxer has won multiple world championships in four different weight classes from light-middleweight to light-heavyweight, moreover, he has held unified world titles in three of those divisions.

At super middleweight, Canelo defeated Callum Smith to win the WBA (Super), The Ring, and vacant WBC super-middleweight titles. After defending the titles once against Avni Yıldırım, he fought Billy Joe Saunders and won to become the unified WBA, WBC, WBO, and The Ring super middleweight champion.

Though there are no official announcements yet, there are talks of Canelo fighting Caleb Plant, the current IBF super-middleweight champion. If this fight is finalized, it will be for the undisputed super-middleweight championship.
