  1. Romelu Lukaku

Club: Inter Milan, Serie A

His performances in Euro and two seasons in Italy showed  great efforts for a successful future.

Club: Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga

Haaland has smart movements with the ball enough to read and confuse the defence. His extraordinary speed and alongside exact shooting make it amazingly hard to stop. One of the best emerging talents in Europe nowadays. Haaland scored 10+ goals in three competitions ( Bundesliga, Austian Bundesliga and Champions league).

First teenager to score 10 Champions league goals after Kylian Mbappe , but Mbappe did it in two years and Haaland did it in one campaign. He just reached 10 champions league goals in seven games and is the quickest player to reach the 10 goals in this competition’s history. He scored 27 goals and six assists in Bundesliga last season and overall scored 57 goals in 59 matches in all competitions. He is the first player for Borussia Dortmund who scored on debut. 

Halaand missed Euro 2020, because his team failed to qualify for the Euro championship. Norway lost to Serbia in the semifinals of qualification. Haaland has had sensational performances with Norway and the club over the past two seasons.

 

  1. Harry Kane

Club: Tottenham, Premier League

Harry Kane scored 166 goals and 34 assists in 245 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur with the average of 0.68 goal per match. Harry Kane has appeared in 35 matches and played a total 3087 minutes this season in the Premier League, scoring an average 0.67 goals per 90 min.

Harry Kane scored a total 23 goals in the Premier League and won the golden boot of Premier league. He is one of the best EPL forwards and consistently shines for Tottenham for the past four to five seasons. 

Kane has normally had a Euro 2020 campaign, big goals against Denmark, Ukraine, and Germany, but it’s an enormous disappointment that he struggled such a lot in the match against Italy in Euro 2020 final. Italy’s rock solid defense of Bonucci and Chiellini has played well in the final of Euro 2020. Kane scored 4 goals in Euro 2020. England lacked of confidence and different kind of services.

Club: Atletico Madrid, La Liga

Luis Suarez celebrated the La Liga title with Atletico Madrid. He is made for big moments. Suarez scored 21 goals last 32 matches in La Liga for Atletico Madrid with an average of 0.75 goals for every 90 minutes, he also top goal scorer for Atletico Madrid. He is one of the deadly strikers in football, he won the Golden boot in the Messi-Ronaldo era. Suarez scored 195 goals for Barca in 283 appearances.

Club: PSG, Ligue 1

This young sensation and a world cup winner made his debut with Monaco in the year 2015 against SM Caen. He scored his first senior goal for the club at the age of 17 and turned out to be the youngest goal scorer for Monaco.

After an impressive display from Monaco in the champions league, in which he played and scored many times, he was transferred to PSG in 2017. He was first signed on loan from Monaco and then bought.

He is currently the second most expensive player after Neymar. He scored on his debut for PSG against Metz. Mbappe started playing for France in 2017 for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification and he scored his first senior international goal against the Netherlands in 2018 World Cup qualification. 

Surprisingly enough, he’s been out classing Neymar in Goal scoring for the past two seasons. Idolizing Cristiano Ronaldo, he’s been becoming one of the best players in the world. Kylian was unable to score in UEFA Euro 2020 and gave only an assist. Mbappe missed the last penalty against Switzerland in the penalty shootout. Pele first footballer showed support to Kylian after France were knocked out of the Euros.

  1. Karim Benzema

Club: Real Madrid, La Liga

Benzema last 3 years for Real Madrid are very phenomenal. He is 33 year old but still playing football on the very top level and his form is insane as he scored a total 80 goals in 115 matches and provided 23 assists in the last three years for Real Madrid in both La Liga and Champions league.

He is also a current top scorer of the club in both La Liga and Champions league. Benzema joined Real Madrid in 2009 from LYON(Ligue1 Club) and helped Real Madrid winning 3 La Liga titles and 4 Champion leagues.

After performing at top level for three years, Benzema called back to France after 6 years for EURO 2020. He scored 4 goals in 4 matches for France in Euro 2020 but France got knocked out after losing to Switzerland on penalties. Karim Benzema is considered amongst the best Strikers of last decade and can still perform at Top for 2 to 3 years more.

Club: PSG, Ligue 1

One of the most expensive and talented football players in football right now. He’s been considered the successor of many Brazilian icons, the likes of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Robinho & Rivaldo. Captaining the Brazilian side in 2016, he led them to the Olympics final, where they earned the gold by beating Germany and scored the winning penalty.

He played for Barca from 2013-2017 and then joined PSG for a world record fee of €222 million. He’s the 2nd Brazilian to score more than 100 goals for Barca, right behind Rivaldo. He scored total of 105 goals. And as for PSG he played 125 games and has scored 91 times. Scary numbers, plus the goal involvement that he had counts to 1.32 goals per match (including assists).

Neymar part of Copa America 2021 team of the competition. Neymar scored two goals and 3 assists in 6 matches of Copa America. Comparing Neymar with the greats of nowadays is well , he is an unbelievable player.

 

  1. Cristiano Ronaldo

Club: Juventus, Serie A

Cristiano Ronaldo is considered amongst the best players of football. He is currently Playing for Juventus after leaving Real Madrid three years back and his three years for Juventus are full of goals and many great moments as he scored 101 goals in 133 matches and provided 20 assists. He is the fastest player to reach 100 goals milestone in Juventus history at the age of 36 years.

Ronaldo’s national team ‘Portugal’ won Euro 2016 and but in Euro 2020 they were knocked out by Red devils (Belgium) in round of 16. Although Ronaldo won the Golden boot of Euro 2020 after scoring 5 goals in 4 matches. Ronaldo scored totals 109 goals for Portugal currently most international goals scored by any player. 

 

  1. Robert Lewandowski

Club: Bayern Munich, Bundesliga

The 32 years old polish striker is one of the deadliest strikers ever. Bayern’s number 9 has been consistently exceptional, especially from the last 4 four seasons. This season he was head and shoulders above the rest in goal scoring, he has scored 41 goals in Bundesliga and 5 in Champions league and is most likely to win the golden shoes. He has one of the most insane records in his profile that he can brag about and is not likely to be broken anytime soon. 5 goals in 9 minutes, against Wolfsburg that left everyone in awe. Being 32, he’s still valued somewhere between 80-110 Million. 

Some may argue that prime Suarez is better than Lewandowski. But right now, he’s the boss and nobody is even close to the polish striker/forward. He scored 3 goals in the first 3 group stage matches of Euro 2020. But his team Poland was unable to reach the knock-out stages.

 

  1. Lionel Messi

Club: Barcelona, La Liga

No one in this World who don’t know about this little man. He is a natural, incredible and smart player in football history. Messi just lacked International trophies but last week he fulfilled his dream. Argentina’s win over Brazil ended a 28 years wait for an international trophy.

All things are clear from the celebrations of Argentina is how this title brings joy and peace for Messi. Leo was very happy with the title and he is the one who needed it the most. Leo has been named as the best player of the tournament and won the top scorer award of Copa America. Leo scored four goals and five assists in Copa America. One of the best performances in this competition, Leo easily  breaks the defense line and is known as a kneen pass distributor.

Last seven days, Messi against Ecuador scored a goal and two assists, and won the MOTM award. In the next match (semifinal) against Colombia he provided an assist and a goal in a penalty shootout. In the Copa America finals he played well and got up to a 6 rating. So Messi is the best player nowadays.

Leo stats for Barcelona is incredible , he scored 672 goals and 305 assists in 778 appearances for Barca. last season won the top scorer award of La Liga, overall top scorer and assists provider in the history of La Liga.

Maybe Lionel Messi’s relationship with Barcelona won’t come to an end  because his love for Barca never decreased. The six time Ballon d’Or winner as a member of Barca, and helped him to 10 La Liga and other different titles.
