Movsar Evloev is another talented fighter in the UFC who deserves an honorable mention. The Russian fighter has an undefeated record with 15 wins, and he has wins over names like Nick Lentz and Hakeem Dawodu in his most recent fight. 

Dan Ige

Promotion: UFC

Dan Ige has a professional record of 15 wins and 4 losses, and he has notable wins over Mirsad Bektić, and Edson Barboza.

Top 10 MMA Featherweights

10. Bryce Mitchel

Promotion: UFC

To start off the list, at number 10 we have Bryce Mitchel. He is an American MMA fighter with an undefeated professional record of 15 wins and no losses. 

Mitchell has won all six of his fights in the UFC and has most notably defeated fighters like Andre Fili, Charles Rosa, and in his most recent fight, Edson Barboza. As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

9. Arnold Allen

Arnold Allen is an up-and-coming British fighter who has a professional MMA record of 18 wins and 1 loss, and he is ranked #6 in the official UFC featherweight rankings. 

Allen is on an 11-fight win streak, 9 of which have been in the UFC. He is a very talented up-and-coming prospect, and already has wins over Makwan Amirkhani, Gilbert Melendez, and Sodiq Yusuff. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Dan Hooker via first-round TKO, and there is no official announcement about his next fight as of yet.

8. Chan Sung Jung

Chan Sung Jung or as he is more commonly known, the Korean Zombie, is a professional MMA fighter from Korea. He has a record of 17 wins and 7 losses.

The Korean Zombie has some impressive wins over fighters like Dustin Poirier, Dennis Bermudez, Renato Moicano, Frankie Edgar, and Dan Ige.

In his most recent fight, which was a week ago, he challenged Alexander Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight title, but he could not match the speed, and pace of Volkanovski. He got dropped multiple times, and the fight was stopped in the 4th round., His next fight has not been officially announced yet.

7. Giga Chikadze

Promotion: UFC

Giga Chikadze is a mixed martial artist and former kickboxer from Georgia. He has an MMA record of 14 wins and 3 losses. 

Before the loss, in his most recent fight, he was on a 9-fight winning streak, 7 of which were in the UFC. He is a high-level kickboxer and has already defeated some big names including Brandon Davis, Cub Swanson, and Edson Barboza. 

He has won performance of the night bonuses in his last 4 fights. He lost to Calvin Kattar in his most recent fight, and as of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

6. Calvin Katar

Promotion: UFC

Calvin Katar is an MMA fighter from the USA, and he has a professional record of 23 wins and 5 losses.

Katar is a very talented boxer and has several notable wins in the UFC over fighters like Andre Fili, Ricardo Lamas, Jeremy Stephens, and Dan Ige. in his most recent fight, Qatar also defeated up and coming fighter Giga Chikadze. As of now, there is no announcement about Qatar’s next fight.

5. Brian Ortega

Promotion: UFC

Ortega is a Mexican-American MMA fighter, with a professional MMA record of 15 wins, 2 losses, and 1 no-contest. 

He has challenged for the UFC featherweight title twice, once against Holloway, and more recently against Volkonovski, but came short both times. He has impressive wins over some of the best featherweight fighters in the UFC, including, Renato Moicano, Cub Swanson, Frankie Edgar, and the Korean Zombie. 

He lost his most recent fight last weekend against the current UFC champ, and there is no announcement about his next fight yet.

4. A.J. McKee

Promotion: Bellator

A.J. McKee is a professional fighter from the USA, and he has a record of 18-1. He competes in Bellator’s featherweight division. 

As of last weekend, McKee is the former Bellator Featherweight champion. He won the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix last year after defeating Patricio Pitbull via submission, however, last weekend, in a rematch against Pitbull he lost the title. 

As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

3. Patricio Freire

Promotion: Bellator

Title: Bellator Featherweight Champion

Patrício Freire, more commonly known as Patrício Pitbull, is a professional MMA fighter from Brazil. He fights for Bellator and has a record of 33 wins and 5 losses.

He is a three-time Bellator Featherweight World champion and has defended the title 7 times. He has also held the Beletor lightweight world title. Last weekend,  he had a rematch against AJ McKee. Even as the underdog, Pitbull managed to win the fight via Unanimous decision, and became the featherweight champion for the third time. 

As far as his next fight is concerned, there is no official announcement as of yet.

2. Max Holloway

Promotion: UFC

Max Holloway is a professional MMA fighter from Hawaii, and he has an MMA record of 23 wins and 6 losses. 

Max is the former UFC Featherweight Champion and has won over some of the best fighters in the division, including, Charles Oliveira, Jeremy Stephens, Anthony Pettis, Jose Aldo, Frankie Edgar, and Brian Ortega, and Calvin Kattar. 

Holloway is the number one UFC contender, and he defeated Yair Rodreguez in his most recent fight. He was supposed to fight Volkanovski but had to pull out because of an injury.

1. Alexander Volkanovski

Promotion: UFC

Title: UFC Featherweight Champion

At number 1, Alexander Volkanovski is a professional MMA fighter with a record of 24-1 and is currently on a 21-fight win streak. 

Volkanovski is the current undisputed UFC featherweight champion and has defended the title three times. Volkanovski has defeated some of the best fighters in the UFC featherweight division, including Chad Mendes, Jose Aldo, Max Holloway, Brian Ortega, and in his most recent fight, the Korean Zombie as well. 

At UFC 273, last week, Volkanovski dominated the Korean Zombie and wobbled him multiple times before the fight was stopped early in the 4th round. There is no announcement about his next fight, however, Henry Cejudo has been calling him out, which could be an interesting fight to make.
