Here are the Top 10 Best NBA Players 2022 Rankings as we get into the Final Four of the 2022 NBA Playoffs

The 2021-2022 NBA Regular Season is in the books as the NBA Playoffs heading to the Eastern and Western Conference Finals. As the four teams remaining look to land a spot in the NBA Finals, a quick look at the NBA playoffs delivered some of the best players in the NBA looking to lead their teams to the Championship.

The group includes the likes of Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, each of those four top star’s chances to land an NBA championship came to an end before the NBA Conference Finals got set to roll. 

In addition, the group of Top NBA Players among the NBA Playoffs also includes Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic who are set to square off in the Western Conference Finals whereas Jimmy Butler and Jayson Tatum are set to square off in the Eastern Conference Finals.

With that said, here is our list of the Top 10 NBA Playoff Players 2021-2022

Honorable Mention

Donovan Mitchell

Team: Utah Jazz 

Coming in just outside of the Top 10 NBA Players 2021-2022 NBA Playoffs rankings is the Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell saw a solid 2021-2022 NBA Regular season averaging 25.9 points per game to go along with 5.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game translated to the playoffs.

In six playoff games, Mitchell averaged 25.5 points per game to go along with 5.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds. However, the Jazz guard struggled to shoot from the field hitting just 20.8 percent of his three-point shots and just 39.8 percent from the field. 

Brandon Ingram

Team: New Orleans Pelicans 

Once a promising young small forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, Brandon Ingram continues to transition into a solid player at the NBA level.

This potential has shown up since his trade to the New Orleans Pelicans, as Ingram averaged at least 22.7 points per game in each of his three seasons. Ingram averaged 22.7 points during the regular season to go along with 5.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

That production improved in the postseason as the Pelicans small forward averaged 27 points per game to go along with 6.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game.

10. Devin Booker

Team: Phoenix Suns

Coming in at number ten on the Top 10 NBA Players 2021-2022 NBA Playoffs rankings list is the Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker.

Booker finished the regular season ranked 8th in the NBA in scoring averaging 26.8 points per game and put together a solid performance during the post season despite dealing with an injury during the Suns first round playoff series win.

Booker struggled in the team’s disappointing blowout loss in game seven against the Dallas Mavericks in the West Semifinals scoring just 11 points on 21.4 percent shooting.

9. Ja Morant

Team: Memphis Grizzlies

One of the young faces of the NBA, JA Morant continues to blossom into one of the game’s top stars. Morant, who is coming off his third season in the NBA posted a career high 27.4 points per game during the regular season to go along with 6.7 assists and a career high 5.7 rebounds per game.

That success continued during the NBA playoffs as Morant averaged 27.1 points per game over nine games while leading all players with 9.8 assists per game.

Unfortunately, a knee injury shut down Morant for the rest of the playoffs before watching his Grizzlies get eliminated by the Golden State Warriors.

8. Joel Embiid

Team: Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers All-Star put together a tremendous 2021-22 NBA Season in route to leading the NBA in scoring averaging 30.6 points per game.

In addition, Joel Embiid averaged 11.7 rebounds per game, 4.2 assists per game and a 31.24 Player Efficiency Rating (PER) guiding him to an NBA MVP runner up finish. 

Despite the strong season, Embiid battled both a finger issue as well as an orbital fracture during the first and second round of the playoffs. Embiid finished the post season averaging just 23.6 points per game over 10 games.

7. Kevin Durant

Team: Brooklyn Nets

One of the best players to ever play the game Kevin Durant continues to put together a stellar NBA career including posting his six time in his career averaging at least 28 points per game. 

Durant finished the regular season averaging 29.9 points per game to go along with 7.4 rebounds and a career high 6.4 assists per contest.

Much like Embiid, Durant struggled to carry the struggles of the Brooklyn Nets in the opening round of the playoffs while averaging just 26.3 points per game. 

6. Stephen Curry

Team: Golden State Warriors 

Heading back to the Western Conference Finals, Stephen Curry is looking to add more hardware to his trophy case as he looks to lead the Golden State Warriors to another Championship.

Curry, who battled injuries at points during the regular season has been solid during the post season averaging 26.9 points per game to go along with 4.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. 

In addition, Curry is shooting nearly 36 percent (35.9) from three-point territory and 45.1 percent from the field during the postseason.

5. Jayson Tatum

Team: Boston Celtics

If you are looking for a stud of the class of the future of the NBA players, the former Duke Blue Devils star Jayson Tatum should be at the top of the list.

Tatum, who is just 24 years of age, continues to be a key driving force for the Boston Celtics and a part of their own “Big Three” that doesn’t get looked at like some of the others around the NBA. 

Tatum finished the season ranked seventh in scoring (26.9 ppg), 29th in rebounds (8.0 rpg) and 42nd in assists (4.4 apg).

His production took a big step forward during the postseason as Tatum currently ranks 5th in the NBA in postseason scoring with a 28.3 ppg total while also averaging 5.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game.

4. Jimmy Butler

Team: Miami Heat

It’s hard not to love Jimmy Butler, especially playoff Jimmy who continues to be a key role player for the Miami Heat when it matters the most.

After watching Butler nearly lead the Heat to an NBA Championship a few seasons ago, Butler has the Heat on the doorsteps of another trip to the NBA Finals with that one step left being the Boston Celtics.

After finishing the regular NBA schedule averaging just 21.4 points per game, Butler ranks 4th among all NBA players in the NBA playoffs while averaging nearly 29 points per game (28.7). To go along with the points, Butler is averaging 5.4 assists and 7.6 rebounds per game.

3. Nikola Jokic

Team: Denver Nuggets 

Despite the early exit during the 2021-22 NBA Playoffs, Nikola Jokic is still one of the best players in the NBA and earning a spot on the Top 10 NBA Players 2021-2022 NBA Playoffs rankings list.

After taking home his second NBA MVP award for his strong regular season, Jokic continued his dominance during the post season despite lacking fellow top stars Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.

Jokic currently ranks second among NBA postseason scoring leaders averaging 31.5 points per game while also adding 13.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.

2. Luka Doncic

Team: Dallas Mavericks

One player that can do it all is the Dallas Mavericks franchise All-Star Luka Doncic. Doncic, who saw his fellow All-Star Kristaps Porzingis traded before the All-Star break, turned it on down the stretch and through the first two rounds of the NBA Playoffs while guiding the Mavericks to the Western Conference Finals.

Doncic, who has the potential to post a triple double nearly any night, averaged 28.4 points per game as well as 9.1 rebounds and 8.7 assists per contest. Doncic ranked in the top ten in points (3rd), assists (5th) and PER (5th) while also finishing 19th in rebounds.

Doncic currently ranks second among all scoring leaders during the post season averaging 31.5 points per game while also ranking near the tops of the list in both rebounds and assists per game. 

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo

Team: Milwaukee Bucks

Coming in at number on the Top 10 NBA Players 2021-2022 NBA Playoffs rankings list is the Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo who finished the regular season averaging ranked second in scoring (29.9 ppg), sixth in rebounds (11.6) and 18th in assists (5.8) per game finished his playoff run with the Bucks leading all players in scoring with 31.7 points per game and rebounds with 14.2 rebounds per game.

However, the Greek Freak just couldn’t find another star after losing Khris Middleton to step up with him and Jrue Holiday.
