Top 10 College Basketball Players – December 2021 Rankings
Ranking the best NCAA Men’s college basketball players of December 2021 as Keegan Murray of the Iowa Hawkeyes lead the way

The talent level across the NCAA Men’s College Basketball is loaded with young stars and potential top NBA prospects. While it is difficult to put a finger on who is the top player in all of men’s college basketball, it is easily debatable on which stars deserve a spot on the Top 10 Men’s BB Players list.
When debating who deserves a spot on the list, many factors must come into play such as the players overall statistics, what team he plays for, how that team is performing and the level of play that team has played during the season.
When considering that the list of top stars around men’s college basketball include the likes of Keegan Murray, Oscar Tshiebwe, Ochai Agbaji, Justin Bean and Sahvir Wheeler.
With that said, here is our list of the Top 10 NCAA Men’s College Basketball Players:
Honorable Mention
Wendell Moore Jr
School: Duke Blue Devils
Another potential star in the making is the Duke Blue Devils junior forward Wendell Moore Jr who has continued to grow his game since last season. In his first eight games this season, Moore Jr, has averaged 17.8 points a game to go along with 6.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.7 steals. Over the team’s last four games, Moore Jr, has posted at least 20 points and six rebounds in three of those four contests.
Fardaws Aimaq
School: Utah Valley Wolverines
A name that has gone unnoticed for most of the 2021-22 NCAA Men’s Basketball season is Fardaws Aimaq of the Utah Valley Wolverines. While Aimaq plays on a smaller conference team, it doesn’t take away from his talent on the floor as he is averaging 20.8 points per game to go along with 14.8 rebounds and 11.5 blocks per contest. In his only matchup against a top 25 matchup, Aimaq helped the Wolverines to a 72-65 win over 12th ranked BYU as he dropped 24 points to go along with 22 rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots and five steals.

Trevion Williams
School: Purdue Boilermakers
When your team is the number one ranked team in the country it is well deserving of at least one player on that team to be included within this list. That one player is senior forward Trevion Williams who is putting together a strong 2021-22 campaign averaging 12.4 points a game to go along with 8.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
Williams also brings the team a strong leadership presence that has shown up with the team’s hot start winning eight straight to open up the 2021-22 NCAA Men’s schedule.

Dereon Seabron
School: NC State Wolfpack
Another guard worth mentioning as one of the Top 10 NCAA BB players is the North Carolina State Wolfpacks sophomore Dereon Seabron. Seabron, who has tremendous height at 6’7’’ for a guard, is a two way player that can make plays on both sides of the floor.
Seabron is averaging 20.4 points a game this season to go along with 10.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Seabron has five double doubles including a 39 point and 18 rebound performance in the team’s 104-100 four overtime win over Nebraska back on December 1st.

Johnny Davis
School: Wisconsin Badgers
As you look at success during any tournament team over the past 10-20 years, it all starts with great guard play and Johnny Davis of the Wisconsin Badgers is just that. Davis, who is a sophomore, has emerged as one of the best guards in the country and one that can do a little bit of everything to help his team win.
That success has shown up this season as the Badgers currently sit at 7-1 to start the season. Davis has four 20 plus point performances this season including 30 points to go along with four rebounds, one assists, two blocks and four steals in the team’s 65-63 win over 12th ranked Houston during the Maui Invitational.

Paolo Banchero
School: Duke Blue Devils
The 2021-22 freshman forward is making a case as the top freshman in all of college basketball as well as one of the game’s top up and coming stars. Banchero who is 6’10’’ is averaging 17.9 points a game to start the season while adding 7.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists as he continues to adapt to playing college basketball.
Through his first eight games, Banchero has topped the 20 point mark in three different games including posting 21 points against Gonzaga and 22 points in the teams win against Kentucky to open the season.

Christian Koloko
School: Arizona Wildcats
The Arizona Wildcats star big man can do it all on both ends of the floor as he is great on the offensive side as well as on the defensive side. Koloko is a threat inside as he is averaging 15.6 points a game a game to go along with 7.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
Meanwhile on the defensive side of the floor Koloko makes it nearly impossible for other players to play down low as he is averaging 3.5 blocks per game this season. The junior center is a key weapon and reason the Wildcats have started the season with seven straight wins.

Drew Timme
School: Gonzaga Bulldogs
Drew Timme continues to solidify his college resume as he looks to help the Gonzaga Bulldogs back to the NCAA tournament and a potential NCAA championship. On the year the 6’10’’ junior forward is averaging 18 points a game to go with 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contests while shooting 60.4% from the floor.
In all nine contests this season Timme has posted at least 10 points to go along with four rebounds. Over that stretch Timme has posted at least 20 points in three different games including a season high 37 in a win over the 5th ranked Texas Longhorns.

Johnny Juzang
School: UCLA Bruins
The UCLA junior guard is one of the top guards in all of college basketball and one that has continued to blossom into one of the game’s top stars. After electing to return to college, Juzang has helped the Bruins off to a 7-1 start to the season while positioning himself as one of the next wave of top stars to make the transition to the NBA.
Juzang is averaging 17.1 points per game to go along with 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest. In the team’s big win over 4th ranked Villanova, Juzang scored 25 points to go along with eight rebounds.

Kofi Cockburn
School: Illinois Fighting Illini
One name that is making a case to be one of the top players selected in the 2022 NBA Draft is the Illinois Fighting Illini junior center Kofi Cockburn. After posting 17.7 points a game and 9.5 rebounds as a sophomore, Cockburn has continued to grow and dominate during his junior season.
Through his first six games, Cockburn is averaging 22.8 points a game to go along with 11.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and nearly one block per game. In the year, Cockburn posted games of 23, 28 and 38 points while posting double doubles in four of his first six contests.

Justin Bean
School: Utah State Aggies
When analyzing the list of the top men’s college basketball players a few different players could land on the list at number two. In the end, it is hard to look past senior forward Justin Bean of the Utah State Aggies. Bean has helped guide his team to a 6-2 record to start the season while averaging 22.1 points a game and 12.5 rebounds per game.
In addition, Bean is shooting 66 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from three point territory. Bean has posted at least 30 points in two contests this season and 24 points in two additional contests.

Keegan Murray
School: Iowa Hawkeyes
Sitting at the top of the Top 10 NCAA BB Players list is the Iowa Hawkeyes sophomore forward Keegan Murray. Murray enters the second week of December leading all division one scorers while averaging 23.9 points per game. His production on the floor has helped the Hawkeyes to a 7-2 record while posting at least 23 points in six of his first eight games.
In addition to his scoring abilities Murray is averaging eight rebounds a game to go along with 1.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.3 blocks per game.
