Right wing players, in the game of hockey, play a vital forward position on the right side of the ice arena. They are allowed to go up and down on the side of the rink. They play in the offensive and defensive zones. The following ratings will be based on their stats and performance this season of 2019-20! Let’s find out which player is ruling the list!

 

  1. 10. Reilly Smith – Vegas Golden Knights

Reilly Smith is a splendid player who had his breakout season in 2013-14 with a noteworthy finish of 51 points (20 goals, 31 assists).In 2015 he scored an NHL career high 25 goals and helped his team to win the division title. This season playing for the Vegas Golden Knights in 67 games he has 27 goals and 52 points, proving to be quite the asset.

 

  1. 9. Evgenii Dadonov – Florida Panthers

Evgenii Dadonov’s second stint with the Florida Panthers seems far more successful than the previous one. In 2017 he played for the Florida Panthers against the Pittsburgh Penguins where he scored 21 multipoint games, including an admirable hat trick in a 6-5 victory, after that he was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes and now back to the Florida Panthers where he is proving his worth by being a great source of offense. This season the Russian-born has played 64 games with 25 goals and 46 points.

Nikita Kucherov is known to be among the Tampa Bay Lightning’s most consistent players, in 2015-16 he became the third player in NHL history to score 10 or more goals in multiple playoff years before turning 23. In the 2019-20 season, he holds quite interesting stats, playing 62 games with 31 goals and 78 points altogether.

Tom Wilson makes his presence known on the ice, plays offensively at the first line and was an essential in helping the Washington Capitals win their first Stanley Cup. His intimidation in the arena is of no match to others. Tom Wilson also got nine goals and 18 points in 23 games and has evolved into exactly what the Capitals expected him to be. This season he has played 60 games scoring 20 goals and bagging 41 points.

Brock Boeser has rebounded quite nicely despite a moderate start this season just like the other young Vancouver guns. He was named Rookie of the year when he first started playing in the NHL, he had a splendid score of 25 goals in his first 44 games in the league. He gave the Canucks and their fans a taste of his skill after scoring 4 goals in 9 games in 2016-17 as a Minnesota Wild. This season he has played 56 games with 16 goals and 45 points in total.

 

  1. 5. Mark Stone -Vegas Golden Knights

Mark Stone is known to be one of the best two way players in the NHL, a defensively accountable forward who scores at least 20 goals every season. He was on the road to having the best offensive season in 2018-19 with 62 points in 59 games after that he was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights. Mark Stone has played 65 games this season with 63 points (21 goals and 42 assists) and proven to be quite beneficial for the team.

 

  1. 4. Anthony Mantha – Detroit Red Wings

Anthony Mantha is considered as one of the best players on the Red Wings have had so far, he managed to make history in 2017-18 by scoring first goal in Little Caesars arena, which is the new home for the Wings. Mantha has played 38 games this season with 14 goals and 32 points.

Andrei Svechnikov is the kind of player who is powering the Carolina Hurricanes to continue doing better this season, with 10 goals, 23 points and three impressive game-winning goals. Svechnikov is truly blossoming into a breakout NHL player for the Hurricanes. This season, he has played 63 games with 24 goals and 58 points.

 

  1. 2. Patrick Kane – Chicago Blackhawks

Patrick Kane is quite near the top with 11 goals and 28 points in 21 games. He is annually neck to neck with Pastrnak for being the best right wing in the NHL. Kane is the first US- born player to win the Art Ross trophy and has won the Stanley Cup three times with Chicago. This season he has played 64 games with 28 goals and 78 points.

 

  1. 1. David Pastrnak – Boston Bruins

David Pastrnak had his first breakout in 2017-18, finishing second on the team with 70 points (34 goals and 36 assists) which earned him a six year, $40 million contract with his current team. They were sure that he would develop really well as a player. His 10 power play goals are jaw dropping! This season he has played 65 games with 46 goals and achieved 90 points taking the lead.
