Kid Chocolate

is a former Cuban boxer, with a record of 136 wins and 10 losses. He enjoyed a lot of success both inside and outside the ring and was one of the most popular fighters of his time. 

Jose Napoles

is a former Cuban-born Mexican boxer who deserves an honorable mention. He reigned as the unified WBA, WBC, and The Ring welterweight champion.

10. Salvador Sanchez

Salvador Sanchez is a former Mexican professional boxer who competed between 1975 and 1982. He had a very dominant career at featherweight, and many analysts believe that if it wasn’t for his premature death, at 23 years of age, in a car crash, he could have been one of the greatest featherweights of all time. 

Sanchez won the Won WBC and The Ring featherweight titles in 1980 and defended them 9 times before he died. He ended his career with a record of 44 wins and 1 loss.

9. Ruben Olivares

Olivares was known to be a vicious knockout puncher and he reigned over the Bantamweight division when it was stacked with great fighters. Many experts and fans consider him the greatest bantamweight fighter of all time. 

Olivares was the unified WBA, WBC, and The Ring bantamweight champion. He won the titles in 1969 and lost them to Chucho Castillo in 1970. However, in a rematch, he won and became the unified champion once again. 

Ruben Olivares ended his career with a record of 89-13-3.

8. Félix Trinidad

Félix Trinidad is a former Puerto Rican professional boxer who competed from 1990 to 2008. Trinidad held multiple world titles in three different weight divisions and is regarded by many as the greatest Puerto Rican righter of all time. 

He won the IBF welterweight title in 1993 and defended it 15 times, and also won the WBC welterweight title after defeating Oscar-de-la-Hoya in 1999. He also briefly reigned as the unified WBA super and IBF super welterweight champion, before winning the WBA title at middleweight as well.

7. Alexis Arguello

Alexis Arguello is a former Nicaraguan professional boxer who competed from 1968 to 1995. He was a world champion in three different weight classes throughout his career, amassing a record of 77 wins and 8 losses.

He was the unified WBA and The Ring featherweight champion, and also won the WBC super featherweight title, which he defended 8 times. He became the unified  WBC and The Ring lightweight champion in 1981 and defended these titles 4 times.

6. Juan Manuel Márquez

Juan Manuel Márquez is a former Mexican boxer, who competed between 1993 and 2014. Over his 19-year long professional career, he has won nine world titles in 4 different weight classes.

His first world title was the BF featherweight title, which he won in 2003. He briefly reigned as the unified WBA and IBF featherweight champion and even won the WBO interim featherweight championship. 

At lightweight, he was the Unified WBA (Super), WBO, and The Ring champion, and he also won the WBO interim junior welterweight title. The Mexican legend ended his career with 56 wins and 7 losses.

5. Carlos Monzon

Carlos Monzon is a former Argentine professional boxer who is regarded by many as one of the best middleweight fighters of all time. He holds the record for the second-longest reign as a unified champion at middleweight. 

Monzon won the WBA, WBC, and The Ring middleweight titles in 1970, and he defended his titles 14 times, for 7 years before retiring as the unified world champion. 

During his reign, he defeated some of the biggest fighters of his era, and ended his career with a record of 87 wins, 3 losses, 9 draws, and 1 no-contest.

4. Roberto Duran

Roberto Duran was a Panamanian legend who stayed active for 33 years. He was known for his powerful hands, which is why he was nicknamed  “Stone Hands”. Throughout his career, he amassed a record of 103 wins and 16 losses. He was also listed number 7 in the “Top Boxers of the 20th Century” list, by the Associated press. 

Duran held multiple world titles in four different weight classes, including lightweight, welterweight, light middleweight, and middleweight. He also reigned as the undisputed and lineal lightweight champion and the lineal welterweight champion.

3. Marco Antonio Barrera

Marco Antonio Barrera is a former Mexican boxer, who had a standout amateur career, and when he started his professional career, he was only 15. Throughout his career, Marco Antonia Barerra won seven world titles, in three different weight classes. 

He won the WBO super bantamweight title in 1995 and again in 1998, defending it a total of 13 times. He won the IBO featherweight title in 2001 and the WBC and The Ring titles in 2002. He also won the IBO featherweight title and the IBF super featherweight title

He ended his incredible career with a record of 58 wins, and 9 losses with 44 knockouts.

2. Julio César Chávez

Julio César Chávez is a former Mexican professional boxer, and boxing Hall of Famer, with a record of 107 wins, 6 losses, and 2 draws. 

He was a multiple-time world champion in three different weight classes and was recognized as the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the world from 1990 to 1993. 

He won the vacant WBC super featherweight world title in 1984, the WBA lightweight title in 1987, and became the unified WBA, WBC, and The Ring lightweight champion in 1988. He won the Won WBC light-welterweight title in 1989 and the IBF light-welterweight title in 1990.

1. Canelo Álvarez

Canelo is a Mexican boxer and has solidified himself as the current Boxing Pound For Pound King. He is ranked the number P4P Fighter by Ring Magazine, The Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, Boxing Writers Association of America, and BoxRec. 

He is the current unified WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, and The Ring super middleweight champion, and he has also resigned as the unified WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, and The Ring middleweight champion. At light-middleweight, he held the unified WBA, WBC, and The Ring titles. Canelo also briefly held the WBO light-heavyweight title.
