Sebastian Fundora shakes up the rankings at 154 pounds moving up just behind Jermell Charlo after winning the unified WBO and WBC titles at Super Welterweight last weekend. Here are our updated rankings, but first, Let’s take a look at some honorable mentions on the Super Welterweight Boxers – World Rankings.

Top 10 Super Welterweight Boxers

10. Jesus Ramos

Opening the Super Welterweight Boxing Rankings we have Jesus Ramos. He is an American professional boxer, and he has a record of 20 wins and 1 loss. 

Ramos is the former WBC USA Silver Super Welterweight champion after defeating Vladimir Hernandez back in 2022. 

In his most recent fight, he lost against Erickson Lubin, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

9. Serhii Bohachuk

Now we have Serhii Bohachuk from the Ukraine, who has a professional boxing record of 24 wins and 1 loss.

He won the WBC Continental Americas Super Welterweight Title in 2022 after defeating Aaron Coley and defended twice since.

In his most recent fight, he faced Brian Mendoza for the WBC Interim Super Welterweight Title. He won the fight by unanimous decision. There is no announcement for his next fight.

8. Jack Culcay

Jack Culcay is an  Ecuadorian-born German professional boxer, and he has a record of 33 wins and 4 losses. 

Culcay is the former WBO International light-middleweight champion, and he has also held the IBF International middleweight title. 

In his most recent fight, he knocked out Juan Adrian Monzon, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

7. Liam Smith

Liam Smith is a British Boxer with a record of 33 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw. 

He is the former WBO light-middleweight champion and has held multiple regional titles over the course of his career as well. He is the former WBO Inter-Continental and WBA International light-middleweight champion. 

In his most recent fight, Smith lost to Chris Eubank Jr, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

6. Erickson Lubin

The next boxer on our list is from the US, Erickson Lubin is a boxer with a professional record of 26 wins and 2 losses. 

Lubin is the current WBC Diamond Super Welterweight champion. He also challenged Jermell Charlo for the WBC super welterweight title in 2017 but lost the fight, and has previously held the WBC Silver super welterweight championship. 

In his most recent fight, Lubin defeated Jesus Ramos, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

5. Magomed Kurbanov

Magomed Kurbanov is a professional boxer from Russia. He has a record of 24 wins and 1 loss.

Though he hasn’t won a world title yet, he is a two-time WBO International light middleweight champion and has also held the WBO Intercontinental light middleweight title. As an amateur, he won a gold medal at the 2008 Youth World Championships.

In his most recent fight, he fought Israil Madrimov with the vacant WBA World Super-Welterweight title on the line, however, he lost via TKO.

4. Israil Madrimov

After an impressive win last month, which got him his first world title, Madrimov moved up to number 4 on our list. 

The Uzbekistani boxer has an undefeated record of 10 wins,0 losses, and 1 draw. He is the Current WBA Super Welterweight world champion and has previously held the WBO Inter-Continental title 

He defeated Magomed Kurbanov in his most recent fight, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

3. Tim Tszyu

Tim Tszyu is a professional boxer from Australia, and he has a record of 24 wins and 1 loss.

He is the current WBO junior middleweight champion and has won multiple regional titles as well, including the Australian and Commonwealth light-middleweight titles

Tszyu made his first title defense after being promoted to world champion from the Interim title. He defeated Brian Mendoza via Unanimous decision, in a largely dominant performance.

Last weekend, he fought Sebastian Fundora with the WBO and WBC super welterweight titles on the line. However, after a competitive fight, which turned bloody after an accidental elbow cut Tszyu, he lost via split decision.

2. Sebastian Fundora

  • WBC Super Welterweight World Champion

Rising up to the number 2 spot after his recent win, we have Sebastian Fundora, an American Professional boxer with a record of 21 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.

He is the former WBC Light Middleweight Champion and has previously held the WBC Youth light middleweight title as well. He defended his interim title against Carlos Ocampo and won the fight via Unanimous Decision. Both boxers were well-matched and fought at a high pace, however, Fundora was just better at every turn.

Fundora faced Brian Mendoza for the WBC Super Welterweight Interim Championship. Mendoza shocked Fundora by knocking him out in the seventh round.

Fundora became the unified champion recently, after defeating Tim Tszyu in a fight he only took on 11 days’ notice. The fight was very bloody, and competitive, ending in a split decision win for Fundora.

1. Jermell Charlo

  • The Ring Super Welterweight World Champion

In at #1 on the Super Welterweight Boxers – World Rankings list is Jermell Charlo. He is an American professional boxer, and he has a record of 35 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. 

Charlo is the former undisputed light-middleweight champion of the world. He currently holds The Ring light middleweight title, and has many impressive wins in the division.

In his most recent fight, Charlo moved up to super middleweight to challenge Canelo Alvarez for his undisputed title, however, he lost the fight. He was also stripped of his titles at 154 lbs due to inactivity. As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.
