Natasha Jonas holds the top spot while Lauren Price moves up to number 2 with a dominant win over Jessica McCaskill that earned her the unified WBC, IBO and The Ring Welterweight titles. Here is a look at the new rankings for the Women’s Welterweight Boxing division, but first, here are some honorable mentions.

10. Ornella Domini

Ornella Domini is a professional boxer from Switzerland, and she has a record of 15 wins and 2 losses. 

She is a former two time European women’s welterweight champion, and once fought for the WBC World Super Welterweight world title as well. Her most recent fight was back in 2020, when she defeated Szilvia Szabados, however, she has been inactive since then.

9. Stephanie Aquino

Stephanie Aquino is a professional boxer from Puerto Rico. She has an undefeated record with 6 wins. 

She fought three times in 2023, winning all three of her fights, and most recently, she defeated fellow Puerto Rican boxer Simone Aparecida da Silva.

Her next fight is scheduled for June 15th, and she will be fighting Diana Tapia Castro

8. Layla McCarter

Layla McCarter is an American professional boxer with a record of 45 wins 13 losses and 5 draws

McCarter has won world titles in 5 different weight classes. She has held the WIBF and GBU title at welterweight, defending them twice. She is also the former WBA female super welterweight and lightweight champion. 

In her most recent fight, she defeated Halanna Dos Santos, and is currently inactive because of a suspension.

Lolita Muzeya is a professional boxer from Zambia, and she has a record of 18 wins and 2 losses. 

Muzeya is the former WBC Silver welterweight champion, and she fought Savannah Marshall for the WBO Middleweight title as well back in 2021. 

In her most recent fight, she lost to Lauren Price, and there is no official announcement about her next fight. 

6. Kandi Wyatt

Kandi Wyatt is a Canadian Professional boxer, and she has a record of 12 wins and 5 losses. 

Wyatt is the former WBO Inter-Continental Welterweight champion, and she also challenged Jessica McCaskill for the undisputed title. 

Wyatt fought Natasha Jonas with the Vacant IBF welterweight title on the line, however, she lost the fight via TKO in the 8th round.

In her most recent fight, Wyatt fought Angelika Oles, winning the fight by Unanimous Decision. 

5. Jessica McCaskill

Jessica McCaskill is a professional boxer from the USA. She has a record of 12 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw.

Jessica McCaskill has held world titles in two weight classes. She is the former undisputed welterweight world champion and has also held the unified WBA and WBC titles at super lightweight. 

In her most recent fight, Jessica McCaskill lost her titles to Lauren Price in a devastating loss. She got dominated for 8 rounds, and in the 9th, the doctor stepped in and stopped the fight, with Price taking the win.

Sandy Ryan is a Professional boxer from England, and she has a record of 7 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw. 

Ryan is the current WBO women’s welterweight world champion and has previously held the WBC International lightweight title. 

She fought Jessica McCaskill with her WBO and McCaskill’s unified WBA, WBC, and IBO titles on the line. The fight was very competitive, however it ended in a very controversial split draw.

In her most recent fight, she made her second title defense against Terri Harper, winning the fight by an impressive 4th round TKO. As of now, there is no official announcement about her next fight.

2. Lauren Price

  • The Ring Welterweight World Champion

Taking the number 2 spot on the Women’s Welterweight Boxing Rankings, we have Lauren Price, an undefeated Welsh boxer with 7 wins on her record.

She is the current Unified  WBA, IBO, and The Ring female welterweight world champion, and the former British women’s welterweight champion.  As an amateur, she also won gold in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

She defeated Silvia Bortot and also had a notable win against Lolita Muzeya before it. In her most recent fight, she defeated Jessica McCaskill in a dominant performance, winning every round until the doctors had to stop the fight in the 9th round, declaring McCaskill unfit to continue.

Now at #1 on the Women’s Welterweight Boxing Rankings is Natasha Jonas. Jonas is a Professional boxer from the UK, and she has a record of 15 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. 

Natasha Jonas is the current IBF welterweight world champion, and she has also held the undisputed title as super welterweight. 

She fought Kandi Wyatt for the vacant IBF welterweight title. Winning the fight via an impressive TKO in the 8th round.

Recently, she made her first title defense against Mikaela Mayer, the fight was very competitive, and after a grueling back-and-forth war, Jonas did just enough to get a split decision win on the scorecards.
