Mays finished his career with a .302 batting average to go along with 3,283 hits, 660 home runs, and 1,903 runs batted in. Mays racked up two NL MVP awards, 12 Gold Glove awards, made 24 All-Star teams, and the 1951 NL Rookie of the Year.
