Sean Strickland upsets Israel Adesanya to become the new UFC Middleweight Champion. Derek Brunson released from the UFC and big fights coming in the next few weeks. All this and more as we shake up the MMA UFC Middleweight Rankings.

In the rematch, Adesanya was much more aggressive in the second fight and employed a lot more pressure. Both fighters exchanged shots in the first, and Adesanya got the knockout win in the second round.

Last weekend, at UFC 293, Adesanya was set to defend his title against Sean Strickland. He was the clear favorite in the fight, however, Strickland pulled off an impressive upset, winning a dominant decision.

Strickland knocked Adesanya down in the first round, and continued to batter the champ throughout the fight with constant pressure. He won the fight via Unanimous Decision.
