Here are the NBA Fantasy Basketball Rankings for Week 4 of the 2022-2023 NBA Season
By admin | November 8, 2022
The 2022-23 NBA Schedule is in full force as the action on the hardwood is heating up with the calendar rolling into the first full month of the regular season.
As you start to look around the NBA action on the hardwood, many great DFS fantasy basketball options are present as many of the NBA’s top players have stepped up to start the season including the likes of Luka Doncic who continues to play as an NBA MVP candidate night in and night out.
With no NBA basketball on the schedule on Election Day Tuesday November 8th, 2022, all eyes are turned to the rest of the league schedule for the week ending Sunday November 13th, 2022.
Headlining the list of the top fantasy options this week is the Dallas Mavericks All-Star Luka Doncic who will be on the floor three times over the next five days of NBA action. As you start to look at the NBA schedule, many great DFS options are available.
A list that could always include the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, and Kevin Durant. Our focus looked at some of the best matchups over the next five days of basketball delivering us a group of fantasy options to include LeBron James if healthy, James Harden, and Bradley Beal as top tier options.
In addition, on various nights lower DFS salary cap options such as Gordon Hayward, Brook Lopez, and even Malcom Brogdon are strong options. Here is a look at the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 13th, 2022, rankings:
Honorable Mention
Malcolm Brogdon
Team: Boston Celtics
Position: Point Guard
Week 4 NBA Matchups: VS Detroit Pistons (11/9/22), VS Denver Nuggets (11/11/22), @ Detroit Pistons (11/12/22)
Just missing the cut on the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 13th, 2022, rankings list is the Boston Celtics point guard Malcolm Brogdon.
Brogdon is a nice DFS budget play or even a DFS fantasy sleeper option when building your roster this first full week of November 2022.
The Celtics have three matchups this week including two against the Detroit Pistons who rank 1st in the NBA in overall fantasy points allowed as well as the most fantasy points allowed per game to opposing point guards.
Brogdon should provide salary cap flexibility in each of the three games the Celtics take to the hardwood.
Brook Lopez
Team: Milwaukee Bucks
Position: Center
Week 4 NBA Matchups: @ Oklahoma City Thunder (11/9/22), @ San Antonio Spurs (11/11/22)
Another strong NBA fantasy option to consider when building your rosters this week is the veteran center for the Milwaukee Bucks Brook Lopez.
Lopez has a solid fantasy matchup in each of the two games the Bucks play this week including in the team’s rematch of the Oklahoma City Thunder from last week.
In that contest Lopez led all Bucks in scoring finishing with a game high 25 points to go along with three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one blocked shot.
The Thunder currently rank 1st in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers while the San Antonio Spurs rank 5th in the NBA.
Week 4 Fantasy NBA Rankings
10. Giannis Antetokounmpo
Team: Milwaukee Bucks
Position: Power Forward
Week 4 NBA Matchups: @ Oklahoma City Thunder (11/9/22), @ San Antonio Spurs (11/11/22)
In at number 10 on the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 13th, 2022, rankings list is one of the top fantasy basketball player options night in and night out.
That DFS option is Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks who is a top tier fantasy option night in and night out.
The Greek Freak is a double-double machine who will turn in 20 points and 10 rebounds nearly any night.
The downside to leaning towards the Bucks star is the high salary cap figure that he carries on most DFS sites.
9. Bam Adebayo
Team: Miami Heat
Position: Center
Week 4 NBA Matchups: VS Charlotte Hornets (11/10/22, 11/12/22).
If you are looking for another solid fantasy option that provides a filled up stat sheet, the Miami Heat’s big man Bam Adebayo is a strong option at the center position.
Adebayo is currently averaging 17.7 points per game to go along with 8.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per contests while carrying a lower salary cap number compared to some of the other top fantasy options taking to the floor each night.
Adebayo and the Heat have a back-to-back with the Charlotte Hornets to round out the week. The Hornets currently rank 2nd in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers.
8. Julius Randle
Team: New York Knicks
Position: Power Forward
Week 4 NBA Matchups: @ Brooklyn Nets (11/9/22), VS Detroit Pistons (11/11/22), VS Oklahoma City Thunder (11/13/22)
The New York Knicks power forward is a solid option at the position while providing a player who can deliver both points, rebounds, and assists per game.
In addition, Randle has been hot of late posting 60 points to go along with 17 rebounds, and five assists over his last two games.
This week will be very active as Randle and the Knicks have three games to round out the rest of the week including a strong matchup against the Detroit Pistons on Friday Night.
A Pistons team that has struggled in slowing down opponents while allowing the most fantasy points in the NBA as well against the power forward position.
7. Gordon Hayward
Team: Charlotte Hornets
Position: Small Forward
Week 4 NBA Matchups: VS Portland Trail Blazers (11/9/22), @ Miami Heat (11/10/22, 11/12/22)
As a solid fantasy budget option Gordon Hayward is an interesting option when the NBA returns to the hardwood on Wednesday Night.
Now before jumping right into Hayward monitor his injury status as he deals with a shoulder injury. That said, if he lands in the Charlotte Hornets lineup Hayward is worth considering while helping DFS owners have flexibility building the rest of their lineup.
Hayward has a solid matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers before a back-to-back series against the Miami Heat.
A Heat team that ranks 2nd in the NBA in fantasy points allowed per game to opposing small forwards.
6. Jalen Brunson
Team: New York Knicks
Position: Point Guard
Week 4 NBA Matchups: @ Brooklyn Nets (11/9/22), VS Detroit Pistons (11/11/22), VS Oklahoma City Thunder (11/13/22)
The New York Knicks entered the off-season with one thing in mind, and that was adding key components to their roster to compete within the Eastern Conference.
One of those players was the former Dallas Mavericks point guard Jalen Brunson. Brunson has not disappointed to start the year as he currently ranks 12th in the NBA in assists with 7.3 assists per game while scoring 19.7 points and 4 rebounds per game.
Brunson will have two ideal matchups against teams that rank in the top five in fantasy points allowed to the opposing point guards (Nets & Pistons).
5. Bradley Beal
Team: Washington Wizards
Position: Shooting Guard
Week 4 NBA Matchups: VS Dallas Mavericks (11/10/22), VS Utah Jazz (11/12/22), VS Memphis Grizzlies (11/13/22)
Rounding out the top five on the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 13th, 2022, rankings list is the Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal.
In addition to Beal, his teammate Kyle Kuzma is another strong option over the next few games to help build your DFS lineups.
While Beal is listed day-to-day, his matchup against fellow All-Star Luka Doncic sets up a strong night of fantasy basketball on Wednesday November 8th, 2022.
Beal has averaged 21.6 points per game this season to go along with 3.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.
4. Gary Trent Jr.
Team: Toronto Raptors
Position: Shooting Guard
Week 4 NBA Matchups: VS Houston Rockets (11/9/22), @ Oklahoma City Thunder (11/11/22), @ Indiana Pacers (11/12/22)
While Gary Trent Jr isn’t a top tier shooting guard, he is a solid fantasy budget option and potential fantasy sleeper this week for DFS basketball owners.
Entering play on November 9th, 2022, Trent Jr has posted four games with at least 20 plus points scored while also posting at least two steals in four different games to start the season.
In addition, the Raptors shooting guard has been strong in second games of a back-to-back making the team’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers a strong game for him to put together a big-time fantasy performance.
3. LeBron James
Team: Los Angeles Lakers
Position: Small Forward
Week 4 NBA Matchups: VS Los Angeles Clippers (11/9/22), VS Sacramento Kings (11/11/22), VS Brooklyn Nets (11/13/22)
Like other guys like Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James is an option to start in your DFS lineup night in and night out.
However, depending on his injury status for the upcoming matchups, James is nearly a triple double performance away each night.
The Los Angeles Lakers star is currently ranked in the top 25 in scoring (24.3), rebounds (8.9), and assists (7.1) per game.
James will look to take advantage of his matchup against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday as the Kings enter allowing the 5th most fantasy points to the position.
In addition, the matchup on Sunday against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets, is a primetime showdown against another top tier player in the NBA.
2. Nikola Jokic
Team: Denver Nuggets
Position: Center
Week 4 NBA Matchups: @ Indiana Pacers (11/9/22), @ Boston Celtics (11/11/22), @ Chicago Bulls (11/13/22)
When it comes to dominating in daily fantasy sports, it simply comes down to finding players who put together strong games and fill out the stat sheet.
One of those players is Nikola Jokic who nearly averages a triple double each game the Denver Nuggets take to the floor.
Over the team’s first 10 games, Jokic has recorded three triple doubles and five double doubles while helping the team pick up seven wins over that stretch.
With support returning to their lineup, Jokic’s points per game number is down to 20.9 points per game. However, his ability to put together big scoring games can happen nearly any night of the week.
1. Luka Doncic
Team: Dallas Mavericks
Position: Point Guard
Week 4 NBA Matchups: @ Orlando Magic (11/9/22), @ Washington Wizards (11/10/22), Vs Portland Trail Blazers (11/12/22)
In at number one on the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 13th, 2022, player rankings list is the Dallas Mavericks All-Star point guard Luka Doncic.
Doncic entered play on Wednesday November 9th, 2022, leading the NBA in scoring averaging 36 points per game while also adding 8.4 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game.
Doncic has yet to disappoint his fantasy owners, scoring at least 31 points in all nine games he has played this season.
