Top 10 Best NFL Players

10. Justin Jefferson

Team: Minnesota Vikings

Position: Wide Receiver

Sliding in at number 10 on the Top 10 NFL Players 2024 Rankings Predictions list is the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Jefferson, who battled injuries last season, will look to showcase his ability as the league’s top wide receiver if not one of the best in the league during the 2024 NFL schedule.

Despite appearing unjust 10 games last season, Jefferson managed to finish the season with 1,074 yards marking the fourth straight season the former LSU Tigers wide receiver has topped the mark while pushing his career total to 5,899 yards with 30 receiving touchdowns.

9. Derrick Henry

Team: Baltimore Ravens

Position: Running Back

Despite being one of the older running backs among the group of elite running backs in the NFL, Derrick Henry continues to be as dynamic as any running back within the league.

Now with a new change of scenery moving on to the Baltimore Ravens, Henry will look to continue his success while posting his sixth 1,000 yard plus rushing season of his career while topping 100 career touchdowns (90).

Moving on to the Ravens lands Henry among the top rushing attacks in the NFL while allowing him to be the dynamic running back to compliment quarterback Lamar Jackson. Entering the 2024 NFL season, Henry’s status as the top fantasy football running back is easy to see with his potential in the Ravens rushing attack.

8. Joe Burrow

Team: Cincinnati Bengals

Position: Quarterback

As you start to look around the NFL it is hard to look past a better quarterback than the Cincinnati Bengals fifth year quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow, who has yet to complete a full season since entering the NFL has compiled 14,083 yards over his first four seasons in the NFL.

While a disappointing 2023 NFL schedule left Burrow with just 15 passing touchdowns over 10 games, the track record over the 2021 and 2022 NFL season along with a talented group of receivers led by Ja’Marr Chase makes it easy for Burrow to bounce back with a big season during the upcoming 2024 NFL season.

7. Myles Garrett

Team: Cleveland Browns

Position: Defensive End

Entering his eighth NFL season with the Cleveland Browns, Myles Garrett continues to rank among the most feared defensive players in the NFL and top pass rushers on each passing play.

Coming off his sixth NFL season with at least 10 sacks, the former Texas A&M Aggies pass rusher has the potential to top the 100-career sack (88.5) over the course of the upcoming NFL schedule.

Garrett, who took home his first NFL Defensive Players of the Year Awards last season ranked among the most double-teamed players in the league while also battling injuries that slowed him down but only forced him to miss one game.

Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Position: Outside Linebacker

Despite coming off just missing his second NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award, T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers ranks among the best defensive players in the NFL and all-around players in the league.

Watt, who took home his fourth First-Team All-Pro selection last season has racked up 96.5 sacks since being selected with the 30th overall pick during the 2017 NFL Draft.

In five of the past six seasons the Steelers outside linebacker has topped the 13 sack mark with his only season coming up short was an injury riddled season during the 2022 NFL schedule. As teams prepare for the Steelers the one player that comes to mind is finding a way of slowing down Watt.

3. Christian McCaffrey

Team: San Francisco 49ers

Position: Running Back

One of the all-around best offensive weapons in all of the NFL is the San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey is a dual threat running back who can play a key role in both the running game as well as passing game of the 49er’s offense.

Entering the 2024 NFL season, McCaffrey is coming off his best overall season of his career and will look to build on that while helping to lead the 49ers to a Super Bowl championship.

Last season McCaffrey rushed for a career high 1,459 yards to go along with 14 rushing touchdowns while also adding 564 yards on 67 catches and seven touchdown receptions.

2. Lamar Jackson

Team: Baltimore Ravens

Position: Quarterback

When it comes to the two best players in the NFL it is hard to look past the Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson as well as the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

As each prepares to square off against one another on Thursday Night Football to kick off the 2024 NFL schedule, Jackson will look to put together another big season in route to his third league NFL MVP Award.

Jackson continues to be a cheat code on the offensive side of the ball while making it nearly impossible for opposing defenses to build a game plan for him.

Since arriving in the NFL during the 2018 NFL Draft, Jackson has thrown for 15,887 yards with 125 passing touchdowns while rushing for 5,258 yards with 29 rushing touchdowns. The dual threat quarterback will look to build another MVP caliber season while leading the Ravens to a Super Bowl.

Position: Quarterback

In at number one on the Top 10 NFL Players 2024 Rankings Predictions list is the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes continues to put together big seasons year in and year out while also turning up his production during the NFL Playoffs.

Over the previous six seasons since taking over as the team’s starting quarterback, Mahomes has topped the 4,000-yard mark passing in each season while reaching the 5,000 mark twice.

In 96 career games during the regular season Mahomes has passed for 28,424 passing yards to go along with 219 passing touchdowns. Meanwhile the two-time NFL MVP has also racked up 5,135 passing yards and 41 passing touchdowns in 18 career playoff games including the Super Bowl.
