The final two weeks of the 2022 NFL regular season is upon us as the top rookies from the 2022 NFL Draft class look to propel themselves to some hardware.

For DFS owners the class of 2022 NFL draft picks have been solid at various times this season while delivering some salary cap flexibility with some big play potential.

For DFS owners the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies to Start Week 17 of the 2022 NFL Schedule rankings list provides some solid rookies to build around.

Leading the list of the Top Fantasy Football Rookies for Week 17 is the Atlanta Falcons rookie running back Tyler Allgeier. While Allgeier is a great fantasy option on the ground, another rookie in Christian Watson is also an excellent fantasy play based on salary cap flexibility and who else you are looking to build around.

While Watson and Allgeier are both top tier fantasy options as rookies, the list of other top fantasy NFL rookies for Week 17 include Brian Robinson Jr of the Washington Commanders, Isiah Pacheco of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers. Here is a look at the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies Rankings Week 17:

Honorable Mention

Jahan Dotson

Team: Washington Commanders

Position: Wide Receiver
Week 17 Matchup: Cleveland Browns

Just missing the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies to Start Week 17 of the 2022 NFL Schedule rankings list is the Washington Commanders rookie wide receiver Jahan Dotson.

Dotson has been a bright spot as a rookie for the Commanders pulling in seven touchdown receptions over the course of the first 16 weeks while ranking 1st among the rookie class despite playing in just 10 games.

That performance includes pulling in at least one touchdown in three straight games while pulling in at least four catches in each of those contests.

Kenneth Walker III

Team: Seattle Seahawks

Position: Running Back
Week 17 Matchup: New York Jets

One rookie that has put together a terrific rookie season is the Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III.

While he has a difficult fantasy matchup in Week 17 against one of the top defenses in the NFL in the New York Jets, Walker III still has a shot to find the end zone for a team that has some solid playmakers on the offensive side of the ball.

Walker topped the 100-yard mark for the third time this season in the teams 24-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Eve.

Week 17 Fantasy Football Rookie Rankings

10. Garrett Wilson

Team: New York Jets

Position: Wide Receiver
Week 17 Matchup: Seattle Seahawks

In at number 10 on the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies to Start Week 17 of the 2022 NFL Schedule rankings list is the New York Jets rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson.

Wilson, who was one of two standout wide receivers drafted from the Ohio State Buckeyes is just four yards shy of topping the 1,000-yard mark for the season.

Wilson has had at least four catches in five straight games leading into the team’s showdown against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17.

9. Rachaad White

Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Position: Running Back
Week 17 Matchup: Carolina Panthers

Despite losing some of his fantasy value for DFS owners, Rachaad White is still an interesting fantasy option in Week 17 while splitting reps with Leonard Fournette.

White is a dual threat running back who can make plays both on the ground as well as through the air as he showcased pulling in the team’s go-ahead touchdown in the teams Week 17 win. White has 11 touches for 53 yards to go along with one touchdown reception.

8. Drake London

Team: Atlanta Falcons

Position: Wide Receiver
Week 17 Matchup: Arizona Cardinals

Another rookie wide receiver putting together strong numbers in 2022 despite playing on a bad offense is the Atlanta Falcons rookie Drake London.

London, who has not had any consistency at the quarterback position, is making the most of it during the course of his first season within the NFL.

London enters Week 17 with 61 catches on the year for 699 receiving yards to go along with four touchdown receptions.

However, over the team’s last three games London has pulled in 20 catches for 261 yards. In week 17 the Falcons offense will look to take advantage of a struggling Arizona Cardinals team.

7. Chris Olave

Team: New Orleans Saints

Position: Wide Receiver
Week 17 Matchup: Philadelphia Eagles

Week 17 has the making to be a big week for rookie wide receivers as Chris Olave will look to join Garrett Wilson with 1,000 receiving yards.

The New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver enters week 17 just 60 yards shy of the mark after pulling in three catches last week for 53 yards.

Olave entered Week 17 had pulled in at least three catches in three straight games while having no fewer than 53 yards in each of his last four contests.

Entering Week 17 the Philadelphia Eagles have allowed seven touchdown receptions to opposing receivers over the past four weeks of the NFL schedule.

6. Alec Pierce

Team: Indianapolis Colts

Position: Wide Receiver
Week 17 Matchup: New York Giants

Possibly one of the brightest fantasy matchups among the 2022 NFL draft class is that of Alec Pierce as he looks to take advantage of the New York Giants secondary.

The Giants enter Week 17 having allowed the 4th most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers over the past four weeks of the season.

Over that stretch the Giants have allowed 753 receiving yards to go along with six touchdown receptions. Despite having just seven catches over his last three games, Pierce on paper presents a solid DFS option for DFS owners looking to take a high-risk high reward type of option.

5. Brock Purdy

Team: San Francisco 49ers

Position: Quarterback
Week 17 Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders

Rounding out the Top 5 on the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies to Start Week 17 of the 2022 NFL Schedule rankings list is the San Francisco 49ers rookie quarterback Brock Purdy.

While all eyes have been on fellow rookie Kenny Pickett this season, Purdy is slowly emerging as a top tier threat after throwing at least two touchdowns in each of the 49rs four straight wins with him under center.

In Week 17, Purdy and the 49ers will look to take advantage of the Raiders defense that has allowed the 6th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks over the course of the 2022 NFL season including 22 touchdown passes to just five interceptions.

4. Brian Robinson Jr.

Team: Washington Commanders

Position: Running Back
Week 17 Matchup: Cleveland Browns

Brian Robinson Jr of the Washington Commanders continues to be one of the biggest bright spots within the NFL this season.

For DFS owners Robinson has been a key staple within the Commanders offensive attack carrying the ball no fewer than 15 times in each of the teams last five games.

While posting just 58 rushing yards against a strong 49ers defense, Robinson Jr continues to deliver promise and big play potential on nearly any rushing attack.

In Week 17 the Commanders rookie will have a shot at a Cleveland Browns team that has allowed 1,739 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns over the first 16 Weeks of the NFL Schedule.

3. Isiah Pacheco

Team: Kansas City Chiefs

Position: Running Back
Week 17 Matchup: Denver Broncos

Isiah Pacheco is slowly emerging as a legitimate threat at the running back position for the Kansas City Chiefs this season.

The Chiefs 2022 7th round draft pick has surprised many this season, racking up 735 rushing yards on the ground to go along with three rushing touchdowns.

Over the past five weeks Pacheco has also been more active in the passing attack pulling in at least one catch in each contest.

In Week 17, Pacheco will look to take advantage of a Denver Broncos defense he rushed for 70 yards against just a few short weeks ago while also adding 23 receiving yards.

2. Christian Watson

Team: Green Bay Packers

Position: Wide Receiver
Week 17 Matchup: Minnesota Vikings

When you start looking at the top two options on the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies to Start Week 17 of the 2022 NFL Schedule rankings both are well deserving.

However, in the end Christian Watson is a strong DFS fantasy play among the receiver group while Allgeier is a strong play in the running back group among the rookies.

Watson has an ideal fantasy matchup against a Minnesota Vikings defense that has allowed the 3rd most fantasy points in the NFL over the past four weeks including 892 receiving yards on 71 catches to go along with four touchdown receptions.

1. Tyler Allgeier

Team: Atlanta Falcons

Position: Running Back
Week 17 Matchup: Arizona Cardinals

In the end Tyler Allgeier lands at number one among the Top Rookie Fantasy Options for Week 17 of the 2022 NFL season.

The Atlanta Falcons defense will look to continue to build on his strong rookie season against the Arizona Cardinals.

Over the past four weeks the Cardinals defense has struggled to slow down the running game while allowing 385 rushing yards to go along with four rushing touchdowns.

In addition, opposing running backs have added 24 catches for 167 yards and one touchdown through the air against them. Allgeier and the Falcons offense will look to take advantage of the Cardinals defense in Week 17.
