The 2022 National Football League schedule is heating up as the season rolls into week 6 of the NFL season. As the season continues to roll along so does the 2022 fantasy football action for both season long fantasy football and daily fantasy football for DFS users.

One focus area for fantasy football owners now is looking at ways to build a better fantasy football roster for the playoff run, build flexibility by saving a few dollars with cheaper options, and even land that next future star in dynasty fantasy football leagues.

As you start to look at the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies Week 6 each of these stars has the potential to put together big-time fantasy performances.

Starting with the Houston Texans fourth round pick during the 2022 NFL Draft, Dameon Pierce. Pierce has been one of the brightest rookies during the 2022 NFL season and one that has put together a strong start to his NFL career.

As Pierce has been strong, the fantasy football owners have seen a strong rookie crop to start the NFL schedule 2022.

A group that includes Chris Olave of the New Orleans Saints, Breece Hall of the New York Jets, and Drake London of the Atlanta Falcons. Here is a look at the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies Week 6 of the 2022 NFL Schedule rankings:

Honorable Mention

Brian Robinson

Team: Washington Commanders

Position: Running Back
Matchup: Chicago Bears

Landing just outside of the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies Week 6 is the Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson.

Kenny Pickett

Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Position: Quarterback
Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

For season long fantasy owners, Kenny Pickett is well worth looking at but for daily fantasy football owners, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is a nice fantasy sleeper option.

Pickett has thrown for 447 over two games played this season while also rushing for two rushing touchdowns. Pickett is a sleeper against a solid Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense against opposing quarterbacks.

However, the Bucs have allowed opposing quarterbacks to make plays with their feet through the first five weeks. If the Steelers coordinators can get their offense going, Pickett could be in line for solid production moving forward.

NFL Fantasy Rookie Rankings

10. Daniel Bellinger

Team: New York Giants

Position: Tight End
Matchup: Baltimore Ravens

Landing just outside of the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies Week 6 is the New York Giants rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger. Bellinger, who has been a solid 2022 NFL draft pick, has racked up 101 yards on the year to go along with one touchdown reception.

While the production doesn’t warrant dropping a stud tight end, he is a nice sleeper option on a Giants team that continues to play good football. Bellinger and the Giants will take on a Baltimore Ravens defense allowing the 15th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends as well as tied for 4th in tight end touchdowns with three.

In addition, with Bellinger, other rookie tight ends to consider are Isaiah Likely of the Baltimore Ravens and Cade Otton of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

9. Romeo Doubs

Team: Green Bay Packers

Position: Wide Receiver
Matchup: New York Jets

The Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs has slowly built a small connection with future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

With that, it makes Doubs an interesting rookie fantasy football option and one that is worth starting with bye weeks starting to open up.

Doubs and the Packers have an interesting matchup against a very solid New York Jets defense however, the Jets have surrendered six passing touchdowns to opposing receivers on the season.

The 22-year-old wide receiver has been targeted at least five times in four of the teams first five games in 2022.

8. George Pickens

Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Position: Wide Receiver
Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

While the Pittsburgh Steelers offense has been in disarray for most of the 2022 NFL schedule, the opportunity for George Pickens and Kenny Pickett to build chemistry has arrived.

In addition, with the Steelers limited in scoring this season, the team has had to play from behind forcing the team’s quarterbacks to throw more, opening up additional opportunities.

After only three targets to start the first two weeks, Pickens has been targeted seven times in each of the last three games while racking up 214 receiving yards over that stretch.

7. Tyler Allgeier

Team: Atlanta Falcons

Position: Running Back
Matchup: San Francisco 49ers

Another rookie running back that has slowly emerged as a potential top tier fantasy football running back is Tyler Allgeier of the Atlanta Falcons.

Allgeier who saw solid production during week 4 and 5 of the 2022 NFL schedule. Now with the key injury to Cordarrelle Patterson knocking him out for the season, the former BYU Cougars star should see an increased role in the offense down the stretch.

While he has a difficult matchup against a very strong San Francisco 49ers run defense, opportunities should be available for him to find the endzone.

6. Garrett Wilson

Team: New York Jets

Position: Wide Receiver
Matchup: Green Bay Packers

After seeing double digit targets in back-to-back weeks with Joe Flacco under center, Garrett Wilson has struggled to build consistency with Zack Wilson over the past two weeks.

Over those two contests, Wilson has a combined 10 targets for just 68 total receiving yards. If the Jets fall behind early to the Green Bay Packers in week 6, the Jets offense may have to turn to their passing attack to keep them in the football game.

On the year the Packers defense has allowed 685 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions to opposing receivers.

5. Jahan Dotson

Team: Washington Commanders

Position: Wide Receiver
Matchup: Chicago Bears

Landing at number five on the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies Week 6 of the 2022 NFL Schedule rankings list is the Washington Commanders rookie receiver Jahan Dotson.

We recommend monitoring the status of Dotson leading up to the Commanders week 6 NFL schedule 2022 matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Dotson, who missed the team’s last contest due to a hamstring injury, had been a key red zone threat for the Commanders to start the season. Prior to his injury, Dotson had pulled in four touchdown receptions over his first four NFL games.

4. Kenneth Walker III

Team: Seattle Seahawks

Position: Running Back
Matchup: Arizona Cardinals

Depending on if you are playing season long fantasy football or daily fantasy football, Kenneth Walker III is an excellent option to start in week 6.

Walker, who is coming off his best game of his young career, will see extended time on the field moving forward with Rashaad Penny out for the season.

Walker rushed eight times for 88 yards to go with one rushing touchdown in the team’s week 5 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Look for the Seahawks to get Walker involved early against an Arizona Cardinals team that has allowed five touchdowns to opposing running backs (3 rushing/2 receiving) and 563 yards of offense.

3. Drake London

Team: Atlanta Falcons

Position: Wide Receiver
Matchup: San Francisco 49ers

When you start to look at the top three rookie fantasy football options the three stack up pretty close while also competing for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

In the end Drake London lands at number three on the Top Fantasy Football rookie options for week 6 of the NFL season 2022.

London has been targeted at least six times in all five contests to start the season while racking up two touchdowns and 266 receiving yards.

London and the Atlanta Falcons take on a San Francisco 49ers defense that has allowed 740 receiving yards on the year to opposing wide receivers.

2. Breece Hall

Team: New York Jets

Position: Running Back
Matchup: Green Bay Packers

The New York Jets offense has a ton of young weapons including the team’s 2nd round draft pick during the 2022 NFL Draft Breece Hall.

Hall, who the team selected out of Iowa State, ranks near the top of all rookies in yards, and total touchdowns. Add in his ability to be a key weapon in the team’s passing attack including posting his first 100 yard receiving game during week 5, look for Hall to be more involved moving forward.

Hall will have a matchup against a Green Bay Packers team allowing the 9th most rushing yards per game to opposing backs and has surrendered three rushing touchdowns on the season.

1. Chris Olave

Team: New Orleans Saints

Position: Wide Receiver
Matchup: Cincinnati Bengals

In at number one on the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookies Week 6 of the 2022 NFL Schedule rankings list is the former Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Chris Olave. As the week moves along, monitor the status of rookie wide receiver Olave for the New Orleans Saints.

Olave, who is currently in the concussion protocol, is a dynamic young wide receiver who can make any play. Prior to his injury, Olave had posted four catches for 54 yards and a touchdown in the team’s win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Olave has seen 42 targets over the teams first five games while posting 389 yards to go along with two touchdown receptions.

If Olave is good to go, consider adding him to the starting fantasy football roster, and your daily fantasy football lineups.
